Anyone else getting shitty speeds atm? Connection works great and full speed from elsewhere, but i'm getting 1mb/sek +/- from Usenet. I have Astraweb.

Edit: And now it's back on 1.76 Mb/sec where it belongs.

NZB Matrix...Nigga Please...The site is filled with dupes and nukes. Not to mention that you have to be a paid VIP just to leave comments.

If any of you fuckers wants to be VIP on NZBsRus, PM me your name that you registered on NZBsRus and i'll upgarde you. Go to the staff page and PM H8MACHINE stating youre from here

And if you want to switch to Astraweb, use the banner showing on the home page of NZBsRus, it helps the site.

Not words, first sentence kinda flows into the second while reading in mid tempo and keeping attention to intonation.

EDIT:

Here is recorded text-to-speech version --> http://www.sendspace.com/file/bir2c4
To my ear, sentences rhyme Smile

btw, is there some way to sort of pre-check if all files/"articles" are available via astraweb for example? just started with usenet last weekend and while it works like a charm sucking down new releases, grabbing older stuff like LOTR EE in 1080p is a pain in the ass cause of 100 or so files, some are missing and i don't see that in advance, only after already having DLed 10gb Sad

Use Quickpar for repair. http://www.quickpar.org.uk/

If you never used it, click on the file ***.par2 -> open with --> browse progam files/quickpar --> select quickpar.exe

It will scan all the files and try to repair it if theres enough blocks to repair. If some files are in the NZB but didnt download, try regrab it again or depending on your newsreader, you might have the option "download incomplete". So that way, its easier to repair few missing blocks on a incomplete file instead of rebuilding the whole rar.

Hope that helps.

Been fiddling around with a free trial account (until I get paid that is) and SABnzbd. Everything is fine and dandy, find a .nzb load it into sabnzbd done.
Now, if I - for whatever reason - I want / have to sift through a certain newsgroup myself, sabnzbd doesn't allow for that. Should I just use another program, ie Grabit for that?

Hi sabin1981!

In case you haven't been to the site for a while, the new domain name is XXXXX

Please change your bookmarks.

Newzbin has left the American Internet. It just ceased to use the newzbin.com domain and moved to XXXXX.

We regret the need to do this but, thanks to the retards in the US Government and the MPA, a '.com' address is no longer viable. Really, any domain controlled by the US government proxy Verisign isn't viable.

See you at the new place.

The Newzbin Team

Just received this (XXXX'ed out the new domain just in case it's not allowed on here.. I'm kind of fuzzy on the NFOhump stance of usenet indexing sites) - but I don't doubt we're going to see more of this. Now that Verisign and Homeland Security have been actively seizing .com domains that host content they don't agree with, I reckon more and more of our favourite sites are going to be changing soon.

I'm getting shite speeds too atm.

Normally 4.7MB/s but right now it's sitting around 1.3MB/s (MB not Mb)
