Failed Troll

Probably awaiting approval from Microsoft/Sony.

@deelix
Who gives you the "Her righteous fury" quest? So I can stay away from it until a TU is out.

To the right of "15" (most northern part of the sand dunes) She is in a camp, the mission is in a cave.

Avoid the quest . Nothing I could do about it at least. It but might be something that just occur for some, but id stay away from that quest until people with the new patch confirm the quest is working 100% for everyone. Nothing is worse than corrupting a save countless of hours into a game Sad
And even tho I got one of them working again, I permanently fucked up my fast travel Sad Sad Its like the game still thinks im in that damn cave even tho iv completed the game Laughing

Mehhh...Patch seems to be out on both PC and PS3, but not 360 :@

Oh yeah, and to answer your question it bugs when you get to a certain place inside the cave ... ill upload a picture tomorrow. It started spawning enemies like crazy and they got stacked. Laughing How it can corrupt a save is beyond me, but it was possible :/ The places where you get the quest is one of the few places you aren't directed to via other quests. Because there is pretty much nothing there. Even the NPCs there say its a boring place Laughing ...and they are right.

The thing is on PC and PS3 they can have unlimited patches but on XBOX 360 they can only have MAX 3 patches for each game and they size altogether can't be bigger then 50 or 80 megs Laughing you can say DE FUQ MICROSOFT WTF

Valve's Newell Calls Xbox 360 Patching Process a "Train Wreck"

So they are tring to fing all the bugs and THEN add this patch on the 360 network

if you have a Jtag xbox you can understand WHY THIS LIMIT IS IN PLACE , i am talking about the patches folder called ''CACHE''

Aye, that old 50MB/3 patch limit has long since been removed -- some of the new patches are pretty sizeable and some games have several patches in their lifespan on the 360.

Just downloaded the TU, but putting it in either cache on the primary harddrive or the database> titleupdates in the fsd2 folder won't make it show. Seem to remember not really getting how to manually put in TU's earlier either. Anything else i need to do or did i do anything wrong?

Just put it in the Cache folder either by yourself or with x360CM.

Online Pass is out for JTAG/RGH, it adds the House of Valor arena + a ME Sheppard's armor for melee class, nothing impressive though but seems like a cool gear for low level characters.

No, just like cobALT said. But something made a cache2 folder in the same root as original cache for me and no TUs worked it seemed like. So I had to delete it. I assume it was FSD2 that made the folder :/

played for about 5 hours now on ps3 and it seems pretty good. I dislike the graphics style they chose.. makes it hard for me to take the world/story seriously, but I'm going to continue on and will probably get used to it eventually.
started on hard too as some of you guys here recommended that and it's been a good challenge. I died a couple of times and potions are important.

I got a nasty sound delay though which is really annoying... it seems I'm not the only one but some people claim they don't notice anything and I don't see you guys complaining about it? I wonder why because to me it seems like the game is just programmed that way.

it's like it doesn't cache a lot of the sounds and then loads them when they are required but by the time they load they're like 1 second late. the second time you cause that sound to occur then works fine.. but only for a while as other sounds are loaded it seems the ones that haven't been used get thrown out again and have to be reloaded, causing the delay to occur again.

it effects sounds like dodging, opening doors and special attacks, and it just annoys me like crazy... when you do a cool attack and the sound of the final powerful blow is delayed it's just not very satisfying.

I sure hope it can be fixed with a patch. Do you guys experience this too?

I read that a lot of people had an issue with sound with the demo although not everyone was affected.

My only issue with the sound is that some are too quiet or not at all. The memory stones, lorestones, voices are sooo god damn low in comparison to everything else - especially the combat sounds - that I can barely hear a god damn thing with a normal sound level. This is extremely frustrating at night because I have to turn the sound all the way up every time i listen to one of those and then turn it all the way down, otherwise if I go into combat I'll probably give half my neighbors a heath attack.

And sometimes, in terms of sound, nothing happens. I'll walk through a dungeon or a forest and it's extremely quiet because the sounds (footsteps, ambiance, etc) are so low you barely hear anything and then the music forgets to play sometimes. And after this you can imagine that going into combat the sound impact is equal to that of cars being blown up.

What the FUCK were they thinking?!

I have no issues with volume, it's all good, but I've read about other people having issues like yours as well. It seems they somehow managed to screw up their audio engine in a way that makes different problems possible on the same hardware...
you'd think with consoles that if it works on one ps3 then it should work on all of them in the same way... but they found a way to circumvent that! yay!

It's almost as the developers didn't know about the insanely long loading times for just about everything. Doing quests in a city is a fucking nightmare. :/

One thing I really like about this game is the whole interface and how fast it works.
I've seen too many games where even the most basic interface actions take a while and it's so annoying when you want to check the map to see where you're going but it takes like 2 seconds to open it.. it doesn't sound like it's a big deal but it gets really annoying.

Here, you press select to open the map and it just opens instantly, same with the menu and stuff.
Or how you can compare items and then equip them right there if you like, or set stuff as junk as you pick it up to easily sell it off in bulk later.
It's kinda obvious stuff but AAA titles have failed to include it in the past.

They aren't really that long, but way to common... I don't want to know how much time in total I spent watching those loading screens Crying or Very sad

They are long for a small house. Sitting there 20 seconds +/- to load a small house is silly. When going outdoors it's excused. I don't know what the hell is the point of having to load every single house. How hard can it be to have open doors? Engine limitation? If so scrap that shit

Most annoying part of the game indeed... not the camera people keep complaining about. Only a little annoying while being approached by an enemy.

I agree on that. Anyone else had a problem getting one of the quests in alessa? in one of the houses? Some gnome has a exclamation mark over his head and says something about finally decided to join the experiment or something, but he doesn't have any quest dialogue.
