Scanners reported nothing in my case.
try this tool to verify your net frameworks:
click
Source page for the tool
In my case it detected an error in Net framework 1.1, will rtry to reinstall and see if it fixes anything.

Hoping that it does i'm still convinced it is a borked crack though
prudislav is the only person i have seen saying that they have it running heh

Can you check which .NET Frameworks you have installed?
Also, I'm on XP SP3 here, which operating systems do others with this error have?

hmm must be an issue at my end (and many others then)
Vista 32 fully updated have to check NET i don't recall
have seen people with every flavour of windows with this issue
hope you are onto something with the NET errors heh

It's kinda odd. Quite a few people on RLSLOG comments report this same error. I don't know what could be wrong. I did update to the newest ATI drivers yesterday.
I'll try something - you could get into the game if you used the crack from BONETOWN. You could enter fantasy mode in this game with that crack, but the game was unstable - it would crash after "engaging" one chick in conversation.
So we'll see if the game STILL works with that crack.

Well the old BONETOWN crack still works - it gets you into the game and you can try Fantasy mode.

Well i still got the error after reinstalling it but it seemd to be a registry entry related to Internet Explorer so I doubt it affected the game.

have you 64 or 32bit system? some say this error appears only on 32bit system

32 here, starting to think that must be the case as well even though i have seen people "claiming" that it wont run on 64 either
overwhelmingly seems to be a 32bit issue for sure
