Just get the steam unlocked one, run latest greenluma, use ali cracked exe (not other files) and you are good to go.

Btw, still can't get over the fact that they used cel shading in this game, kinda buzzkill for me Sad

I can also confirm that the "Green Luma" method is working, playing it right now now with blood, gore etc.

So from that ali crack you only need the DarknessII.exe?

so for the greenluma stuff, since i never used it before...updated steam, dropped the greenluma 2.3.4 files into steam directory, ran greenluma.exe, steam opens and shows a shit ton of games in library...so i think it's working. but when i start the game, there's no dismemberment at all Sad

/edit: tried just copying the cracked .exe, and when trying to start it, it says failed to initialize steam, make sure steam is running (even tho greenluma steam is running). steam_appid.txt saying 67370 is also in that folder

ugh, always this steam related bullshit to get something working, i'll wait for a proper release.
annoys me when i'd be going trough my games' folder & finding a gazillion of instructions for each game just to get it running.

I might play the game if they'll really patch a FoV option in the game at least. That said, the crack can wait until then as far as I'm concerned. It can wait even more, I have what to play. Smile

I hope that scene release will be after FoV patch - they don't make patches for CEG-protected games anymore Sad

Well. The game is... how to say that... no so very long Razz. Already finished. It's a rollercoaster from start to finish, very linear. It's not a bad rollercoaster, but I've had better too. Shooting mechanics are pretty cool and the story kinda kept me going (even though it's nothing spetacular, there are some parts that are really well thought and made), but you'll probably be very dissapointed if you expect a game similiar to the first one.

Generally, hub structure of the first one + shooting mechanics and character advancement of the sequel would be the perfect mix for me. Sadly, this is not the case.

Spoiler for the ending:

Thought this was funny, Totalbiscuit calls out 2K Elizabeth (of "modding the Mafia 2 demo is stealing our game" fame) on the FoV issue:
