FPS short? as in 4-6 hours? :/

I just extracted it to my JTAG lol, won't start playing it until iv finished Kingdom of Amalur.
good luck with that i heard there are preparing a patch that will fix a game breaking bug in the main quest and fixes one aide quest that corrupted savegames [reading your previous post i guess you found that savegame corrupting quest Razz ]
If you check the other thread I managed to complete it... but I cannot fast travel anymore Mad hoping for a patch. Good to read that it was a real bug and not only my damn unluck. name of the quest is "Her righteous fury"

ah, its not only me: http://www.gamespot.com/kingdoms-of-amalur-reckoning/forum/her-righteous-fury-broken-61886625/

I had no problems with the main quest tho Smile Not even any NPCs got stuck as happened to me at times in Skyrim.

Its for this ...guess now the dirty peasants must wait for the same patch Laughing

30 minutes isn't enough to judge this game.

It's more than enough actually.

I disagree since in that 30 minutes you'll be spending most of your time in the tutorial area getting used to the mechanics.

Plus, depending upon how much you roleplay such things, the character customisation screen can take a good 30 minutes on its own. Very Happy

Mechanics which suck a whole fucking lot... so yeah, it's more than enough.

I hate the blink when facing stuff like that though. It's much easier to evade attacks with the regular roll if you ask me.

Hah, as predicted.. the "Fate Touched Weapons" DLC is hilariously weak Very Happy Probably nice and powerful at the start of the game, but they sure don't scale to your level as right now they're pitiful. I did get Shepherd's full armour set though, which is pretty nice if you're a Might user just start outing, though that comes free with the base game anyhow and it's useless right now.. far too weak compared to what I already have.

Give it more time, the game starts up properly after some hours. In the beginning the combat isn't very interesting and the quests are generic, but later on when you get more skills and deeper into the story, the quests are getting larger and more meaningfull while combat gets more challenging. 30 minutes isn't enough to judge this game.

of course today will play it longer (yesterday no time for that), no need to hurry anyway.
Edit: playing right now, this one is a great surprise in fact. Not as serious as Skyrim of course, but a lot of fun, tell you. Better than Fable 3 and easier than TW2, with many ennemies everywhere, MMORPG-like. Worth the money spent on it.
