I really really REALLY think they need to clamp down on all this info they're releasing. Honestly, they're overexposing their game to the point where there won't be anything left to discover any more. A lot of the fun of playing a new game, is to find out new monsters, new items, music, different settings, etc. and they're giving all of that away or at least a large bit. Tssk tssk.

All they're doing is teasing everybody and, worse as red said, just spoiling the game by divulging far too much information as a means to hook people in. Just announce a release date already, stop posting so much content-heavy updates, and let us discover it for ourselves |
Yes, they just need to stick to maybe a teaser screenshot every month or two three to keep our attention but really, where their first releases were just the proof people needed that this game was in good hands, the last half a dozen posts were more a case of "yes, we get it, the game will be awesome - now please just get on with it and don't spoil it all for us!"

I don´t see what the problem above is. They are revealing some information to people that want that information. If thats a problem then don´t read it?
You are ofcourse right if its the programmers that are sitting there writing, but its probly just
some intern tired of making coffee.
There are two kinds of people I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures, and the Dutch.

Fucking ridiculous.
Devs don't post frequent updates, people bitch. Devs do post frequent updates, people bitch. Devs share semi-detailed progress on the game with people who want to see it, people bitch. Devs are secretive, people bitch (especially if, in the absence of actual information about the game, they form baseless preconceived notions about the game, that the games ends up not exactly matching. Then the shit really hits the fan, and people get butthurt about the game not being what they wanted). Dev takes time to get a game in a sellable state instead of rushing it out to meet a deadline, people bitch. Dev rushes out a game before it's done, people bitch.
Seriously, they're just doing weekly blog posts. That is "overexposure" and "dick-teasing"? People are talking as though this is like a Call of Duty-style massive ad campaign. It's their personal dev blog, for fuck's sake. Read it, or don't. They don't have a release date right now. You'll know when they do. If you don't want the weekly updates, don't read the blog every week. The game was announced just 8 months ago. Grow the hell up.
It's not like the game is done, and they're just going to sit on it for 6 more months and make "teasing" blog posts without releasing it, just for the hell of it. And seriously, what have they "spoiled"? They've given basic details on gameplay systems and features, shown some monsters and characters, and just a bunch of the usual pre-release stuff. If they were showing any less, there would be idiots bitching they they aren't showing enough.
God, I'm glad I'm not a game developer. Fans suck.

I've never ever heard people bitch about a dev not posting lots of detail about their game. You may be surprised to discover a lot of people prefer not to have a game spoiled. And christ, Grimlock gets posted all over the Internet - every forum I go to has topics on the game so whenever they post an update, it gets posted there. It's hard to avoid when you're constantly hoping the new posts are about a release date.

What I fail to see is how was the game spoiled with their weekly reports.
I understand a certain frustration because the game was not released yet, and it was promised to be in last December.
I don't want to find excuses, but for me, it's not in their hands anymore but rather what the digital distributor wishes.

Oh and to answer the earlier statement of "they're posting stuff on their personal dev blog" - what a load of BS. They're posting these reports on the MAIN PAGE of their MAIN SITE. It's hardly out of the way and easily ignored when people are looking, and waiting, for concrete info about the game and not yet more reveals about stuff gamers want to experience and discover for themselves. Too much information is every bit as bad as too little.. and it's far worse to those waiting for the game as it just comes off as "Neena neena!!" teasing.
Please don't mistake this for dev bashing, because that couldn't be farther from the truth, we're all (well, most ) just getting impatient for what is sounding to be a fantastic game - all these progress updates are just teasing us for something and, in essence, spoiling the game but giving away too much info. This isn't the first incarnation of the game either, they put out a tech demo several years ago (2004, if I'm not mistaken) so this is hardly a case of people being impatient about a few months dev time

!!!!!!!! It works with injectSMAA by mrhaandi. But with the injector the fonts in the options menu look bad. Also the injector gives me an FPS boost from 100 to 124 with aa on and 175 with aa off.

So, I can just look around a room with a mushroom-like creature in it?
225fps - 1080p all maxed on a default 580 and a 2600.
