I watch my Mrs play TOR everyday and it's the most dull, uninspired MMO I've ever seen - people actually like the graphics? I'm amazed.

Is there a way to enter pvp from the beggining(except for dueling)? A dedicated pvp zone/arena or something of that sort, cuz its boring the shit out of me with those kill ten rats quests...

Yeah, it's a shame when you only have one faction, it ruins the pvp.
I remember an old MMORPG, which had only one faction and had shitty pvp, it was Ultima Online if i can remember... oh wait..

Yes, but your constant bitching and moaning about when something doesn't suit your needs is really getting tired.
EVERYONE now knows you don't like this game, so what point is there for you to keep saying bad things about it.. It just makes yourself more hated.
And no, i'm no fanboy, i knew what to expect from this game and it's what i got presented.
My first MMORPG was Silkroad Online (what i played for 4 years LEGIT, so no botting), compared to that game, this grinding is NOTHING.

Where? how? Lore-wise yes, but you couldn't join a faction. You could attack ANYONE, even in cities.
And since you are saying you don't hate games,and since you aren't hating this one (not that i care, i haven't tried it yet, and from what i can see i won't like it) can you tell me exactly why having only one faction makes this game less fun than say, wow, which has two factions?

Sadly these kind of people get their kick out of doing this.
Anyway stream is off atm, testing crossfire (1card barely got me 25fps, dual cards get me around 50-60)

The game's problem isnt the one faction thing(for me its even a plus... everyone knows whats the "balance" between the two factions in TOR). What I dont like about the game is that its another generic mmorpg with its gimmick. In this case the "action combat", which feels as any other game from the genre, but with different key binding and no actual target. Everything else is the same, starting from the quests(the most horrible experience so far - I had to kill a boss, but so do the other 20 players, which made it impossible to complete the quest without waiting half an hour or switch channels), UI, indications, maps and the overall feeling that you have already played it.
At least the art and visuals are nice and I will explore for a bit more just for that.

Mh smth is off with this release. When i played the "testing" weekend last year, i had my gtx260 and the game ran fine on max settings, now with my 560ti , i had like 15-20 fps most of the time. Most ppl with better machines, reported that they had similar problems :/
