i watched it w/ my girlfriend on netflix. at first i thought it was the jeremy irons one, but it wasn't. turned out to be better than i thought. graphic scenes of gore, lots of sex and titties. can't go wrong with a decent cast and decent acting.

For when people start watching it:
 Spoiler: | I quite like how they portray Lucrezia here. In Showtime's version she's put on as a victim of all sorts, where as here she's already turning into the wretched manipulative little bitch she was according to the commonly accepted version of history 
The girl playing her isn't particularly good though  |

Watched 4 episodes so far. I can't stand John Doman. I hated his character in The Wire as well.
Watching those four episodes. I thought I was rewatching The Borgias

Well the story told is slightly different here and a few episodes further things really get a lot nuttier than in The Borgias

I watched two seasons and I actually quite liked them although I think the first one was better.
The series has more politics  and stuff like that than Showtime's version but I liked Showtime's actors more especially the one who played Lucretia ^^

tbh I don't remember anything from season 2 only that I liked the first season more than the second one. So I guess I'll have to rewatch it
