I think people have to step back sometimes, and take things for what they are. They tried, and it didn't work out. To me it seems they were honest all along the way, and I never for one second blamed them for making a console only game - such are the realities of life, sometimes you have to compromise.

Bingo. Anyone today can make a so-called "open-world" game that ends being boring, flat and uninteresting. If they came to the conclusion that open-world didn't provide the experience they expected from this game then I'm totally ok with that.

I was expecting 60$ for the collectors edition! But 35$? If I wasn't intending on trading some games for it I would insta~buy it the second it's out on steam.
Hope they'll have dev commentary on CE, heard it's really good.

Maybe i'll pre-order this once it's avaiblable on Steam, if they don't charge 30 euros (charging the equivalent of 30$ instead) for it, i'm probably going to insta-buy it.

Also confirmed : fov options. These guys, if it all turns out to be true ofc, are really showing how a port should be done!

There is (from the FAQ):
Quote: | The players can also turn off the HUD if they wish. This was a feature many of our fans wanted for Alan Wake Xbox360. FOV adjustment was also added due to popular demand. |

Most likely, yes. Some Remedy guy said it will not be 40 euros (some guy asked if it'll be 40 due to VAT etc.). So my guess is 30 as well.
