How are the DLCs expensive? You pay for the figurines. Misleading title FTW!

Assuming the figurines are the only way to get the DLC, I don't see anything wrong with the title.

You don't pay for the DLCs, those are just bonuses used to promote the figurines.

So can I just buy the DLC without the figurine?

Can you buy the limited pre-order DLC at store X without pre-ordering from store X?

if you buy the digital version of ME3, don't see how they could send you these figurines, so I think you can buy DLC only without them.

I decided to get my saves ready for ME3, did a speed run of ME1 and now started ME2 and I'm stuck at the labs, I picked up the medi-gel for Wilson but I can't give it to him, unity button doesn't work, says "no team mates are down". ><

EDIT: fixed, had to start a new game several times before it let me continue. >.>

Good thing there's a save editor, couldn't be arsed to re-create my character so I just copied the face code. Very Happy

Watching all the promotional trailers and game art feels very strange if you don't play the default male Shepard face. The game was just trying to help you develop a deep relationship with your character.

the default male Shepard is a no way for me, just too boring. I've made a female vanguard, good with teammates, badass with ennemies, very nice, so will see how it is in ME3.

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

They've been always around. Fahrenheit was awesome. I also had the chance to play Heavy Rain a bit which was also good. Dark Esther is also shaping up as a good game in that genre.

waiting for pc demo! Feb 14!

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

How Mass Effect 3 will be easier on series newcomers

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-01-24-how-mass-effect-3-will-be-easier-on-series-newcomers

Quote:
"In all honesty, we didn't do a really good job of new player orientation [in Mass Effect 2]," Mass Effect 3 producer Nick Clifford told IGN. "If you didn't play the first game then two was pretty jarring for the first half hour."

but you can always load a previous saved game, so in fact you can continue the storyline from ME2, where is the prob'.
If you got the money and like the game, just buy it.

That "easier on newcomers" thingie doesn't sound too bad. I bet it's basically a sort of previously on Bioware's Mass Effect intro where all the story/characters are explained, imo.

Along with those statuettes the art book will have it's own set of DLC as well.
(And yes both of these DLC bundles are for the MP mode.)
