200 mill?!? Ouch Neutral

I don't believe that number at all and Gamespot aren't exactly reliable. For them to invest that much money into something as dangerous as the MMO market - it seems wrong to me. If they can get 500.000 active subscribers for 5 years in a row, they'll break even but that's a hell of a lot of time to get back your money and doesn't even calculate the money need to fix bugs, further promote the game, etc. Also note it says "to develop" meaning that the marketing part isn't even added and that's very expensive as well

I think they seriously thought they could get a WOW number of subscribers after a period of time but sadly for them the game is crap. I have played around 20 MMORPG's at launch time but no game has ever bored me as quickly as the Old Republic. Worst game buy of 2011 for me.

I could had done that, tho train cost me money again.
But i'm getting it now for free anyway, so everything worked out Smile
And no, i'm playing with Kuro and the rest over there Smile

@benzino
I played quite some MMORPG's in my time, and quite hardcore with most, but from the couple of days that i played SWTOR, i didn't find it THAT bad. Rift was alot worse levelingwise.

So 1.1b is out.
Has the FPS on the Imp and Rep fleet improved? Also is the ability delay issue gone?
It's in the patch notes, wonder if it actually is fixed?

Why are these shitty sites making stories out of this? Any company would do the same to avoid potential legal issues.

Actually, EA is the only company I can think of that bans players from their games because of a forum post. If what is said in this article is true (I have my doubts after few fakes), it is not the first nor the last time this is happening. Just take a look at the articles about Origin/BF bans.

What does that have to do with anything? Any company will ban you if there is a possibility of them getting in legal issues because of you, no matter how small.

is solved only for some skills/animation.
my friend who still plays have issues with all his used skills on inq, beside mounting the speeder. he was raging hard today at work about it Smile.

And I'm not having any problems.

Funny how that works.

I shouldn't say it's completely fixed though, as the patchnotes only mention the issue being significantly improved. Which is true.

And how exactly banning over using memes or quoting in forums will help them avoid legal issues? Its actually the other way around. If anything it makes them look stupid. And thats the reason I stopped posting in the BF forums... better safe then sorry.

The ban is not for using a meme. The ban is for stating that you are underage. Were they to let someone who is underage continue playing the game, they very well could have serious legal issues on their hands.

Yes, the person in question probably isn't underage. Does that change anything? No.

What the proper course of action would had been was to temp suspend the account and ask for verification (ID/Passport), and then if he did met the req age, to unban him again Smile

I know this was a retarded move of me to do so, but i already activated the 2 months on my own account because i knew i was getting the game anyway, i know it's stupid that i did it early but still.
Anyway, i wrote them to refund as i activated the code on the wrong account (that's what i told them ofc) and i got this back from them:

Can they fucking do this?! Isn't it a general law that they MUST refund a product if the customer cannot use it (wich in this case i cannot!)?!
