Always the assumption that gaming is somehow a lower form of entertainment:

no one writes " I have a rich and fulfilling life AND gaming is part of the entertainment that allows me balance".

The implication that gamers are those without better things to do - had they the choice surely they would not "waste" it in front of a screen...

You can't.

Ok, but it says in the Statistics screen that the Anti-tank kit has a Wire-guided missile weapon, how do I guide it? Smile

Demo is damned good BUT and I know it's only one map....flying the planes is almost <<<<<< I said almost, a waste of time due to the small size of the map.

I love the enemy that make it out to the aircraft carrier and somehow get up the bridge structure and sit there wasting dumb smucks waiting around for an aircraft LOL

Anyone noticed that even at the maximum view distance setting people and vehicles sometimes just disappear before they are out of visible range? Is it supposed to be this way or do i have a driver problem here? (ATI 9800 pro with CAT5.6)

It runs cool on my system AMD 2100+ ATI 9500 PRO 512 RAM it's holding me down even halflife 2 i got to run on my system without complaining don't have the cash reserves to be going out and buying a new vid card not until end of year.

So I see it is coming out for consoles too and will have system link and 4 player on one system and 16 on system link finally something on a big scale to play besides halo 2

Keep the left mousebutton down when firing and keep the sight on the target.

It's good it was released to PC first, cause they concentrated on PC technology rather then consoles. Now, it's vice versa, they port it from PC to consoles.

off topic but i completely agree. if you say you are "too busy" to play computer games you're either in med school or just being an asshole Smile

tried out the demo this morning, it was a riot.

my one gripe would be the inaccuracy of the sniper at even medium range... does your skill with it increase with more play? (by skill i mean having it directly on someone and getting the kill versus the bullet randomly missing, even in prone mode with an enemy standing still)... that's the only obnoxious part to me, everything else is sweet!

Well it's realistic, and also it stops snipers from being extremely annoying bitches. It's either that or have the reticle sway I suppose.

The only problem I could see them having is how to implement the command interface, I could only see it being scaled down. If they could keep the controls tightest like halo then they shouldn’t have a problems. I’m a PC individual by heart but sometimes I like to pick up my console controller from time to time and play without hesitation. It also seems like they are concentrating on the multiplayer component more than the single player side which is good because having a system link with friends is the shit.

ah well the time limit isnt that bad, its one map anyway so you can directly start a new round without any loading and shit, but yea this way you dont get that campaign-feeling of running around with your squad and attacking/defending/reclaiming various spots.
you just cant do alot in 12 mins, jump into a squad, assault 2 bases succesfully,
or climb up the crane and shoot a few suckers thinking they were 1337 snip0rz
cuz theyre sitting on the roof.
if you just want quick fun, then its the same to you, unlimited or 12 minutes.
