SH2 and 3 are my favs , Im mostly happy cause I can finally play SH3 again..SH3 doesn't work on Win 7 x64 and I don't want to go with VM or dual boot , it's too much hassle for me..so this is gonna be just fine for me..
What issues are you having with Silent Hill 3 PC? I could NOT get Silent Hill 2 PC to work in Windows 7 x64, game would crash nonstop and the audio was out of sync. But Silent Hill 3 PC worked perfect. Install, play, profit. Of course both games also work great in PCSX2. And hopefully with True Blue.
one adds compatibility with new gfx , the other compatibility with new OS sound drivers [missing sound compatibility and looping the sound buffer makes this game crash if you fix it with this you can finish it... ]
it seems they are focusing on PS2 titles,I still think they should includes another SH title though. the Room/Origins or Shattered memories,but that can gathered be for "SH Origins Collections"
It would require more work than just upping the res.. even tho people would be ok with that

I was thinking the same thing. It was the only silent hill I really enjoyed and how they don't include it in 'The collection' seems bizarre.
Exactly what i was going to post. Dont call it "Collection" when the one who started everything is not even in there. SH1 was the shit that i played so many times.
and i say its a lulz collection , a game ported from ps2 to the pc with higher res textures is ported back from the PC to the PS3
IRON STROM ANYONE... a game ported 3 times from PC to PS2 to XBOX to PC LULZ and each port was called different and had a different point of view and story line ... first game was TPS steampunk sniper game , second was a world war 1 FPS and the Third is a derp FPS about the first nuclear case bomb with less levels but with added bloom LULZ
isnt silent hill downpour again by other developers with action combat where you just run in and smash everything to pieces and so are not scared of anything?
like that other recent silent hill title that I don't even remember the name of any more because it was so bad?
can't wait to play the collection btw, I only ever tried playing silent hill 3 (and sh1 demo on psx) but it scared the hell out of me and I didn't make it very far. but I've played amnesia now so I'm confident I can take it! lol

Is Silent Hill Downpour linked to either of the games in this collection? I was planning to start Downpour once I was done with Mass Effect 3. I have only played Homecoming till now and thought it was pretty good and atmospheric. So should I play the collection first and then Downpour or it shouldn't matter?
