I already PMed some of you, but this is for everyone else.
Some of you hate me, some of you love me, most of you despise me, but regardless of all that is in the past, I still wish every single one of you a prosperous and happy new year with everything that you desire.
In other words, may you bring home your two favorite porn stars, may it be a great year in gaming, and may you be the next Steve Jobs or Mark Zuckenberg, capitalizing on the ignorance of the masses.
Happy new 2012

Thanks for the New Year Wishes.
Despise is a pretty strong word and I am sure it doesn't apply to you here. I hope the ban is lifted. All the best for the New Year.

What an improper comparison that was.
Anyway, some people here seem to hold the perspective, that when someone succumbs to a temporary situation of emotional instability (regardless of it's causes, consequences or duration), that person is immediately transformed in the eyes of the public from what he always is in his normal state into what he is in his abnormal emotional situation.
I can recognize exactly where and when I acted wrongly and in a irrational manner, as I can recognize how others used this emotional instability to their benefit or personal agenda.
If being aware of your mistakes and being ashamed from them doesn't have any sort of validity to you, I don't know what does.
Either you yourself are the unemotional, psychopathic robot that you accused me of being, completely impervious to any empathic stimuli, or you recognize that at some point in our lives, anyone of us may fell victim of emotional stress and behave in the most unpredictable manner.
You seem to be accusing and hostilizing me out of personal reasons, rather than actually possessing any legitimate reason or information that can back up your claims.

That's a lot of text Sir.
But I give you an A for effort, you almost sucked me in there with that "I'm just like you are"-thing.

Not so much as "you're just like me" but more to the point of, "my interpretation of you is just like your interpretation of me".
And you haven't exactly answered/commented on my point, merely avoided it.

Nobody cares, everyone is so FUCKING TIRED of you excusing or explaining yourself.
And you still jump the bait like a truck driver jumps a 2 dollar hooker.

You're always welcomed
Anyway, I said I saw persistence as a virtue, that's, in my opinion, very different from saying that it is always a good thing, if you understand what I mean.
To be persistent, to be logical, to be intelligent, humorous, creative, etc. Are all virtues, but each one of those traits cannot be said to be always good, ie, good in all possible circumstances. For there are certain situations or events, where persistence should be left aside, others where humor is unwelcome, and so forth.
I see persistence as a virtue because the majority of us are not persistent, we succumb to lazyness and procrastrination for the better part of our lives.

yup, i agree mostly. Not on the procrastination part though, as i think that "laziness" is something that has been demonized by our religious culture (making it one of the mortal sins, if i remember correctly) and our work "ethic", while procrastinating can have a lot of benefits for the individual (stress reduction, etc) and our culture (art, poetry, improved creativity (even in fields of technology / industry / science))
