It might as well be your video-ram. I checked taskmanager when I was playing, everyting on high and it used ~600-650mb, I have 1gb ram and no stuttering here.

Crap game. Uninstalled it already.

Joint Operations even with all it's bugs is much better.

How do you know thats your RAM?

Well, I got fast GeIL 256x2 memory sticks and the game takes more than half of that...once I checked it showed 279/512Mb. Thats craze, and indeed causes damn stuttering which increase as you try out higher video & sound settings. However...this game really rocks...seems like my next buy for now.

Er, dude that would be caused by your vid card, not your ram. Your vid card cannot handle the higher settings.

Damn, this game is good. I've played almost all night lol. I really want to see the other maps, the demo map has great design. It's shame there isn't really good commandors around, that give commands an all.

Anybody else who has problems with the serverlisting?
It's laggy as hell, and when I scroll it, it loads for 10 sec or so before scrolling.

I have the same thing w/ windows xp pro.

I have infinite time thats the method

open up the file gpm_cq.py with notepad, it's under Battlefield 2 Standalone Demo Server\mods\bf2\python\game\gamemodes
then locate:
host.registerHandler('TimeLimitReached', onTimeLimitReached, 1)
and replace by:
#host.registerHandler('TimeLimitReached', onTimeLimitReached, 1)
that is in the line 32 Very Happy

Well, the game runs great entill i start turning around. But if i lower the texture setting which affects how much ram i needed then the game works fine.

Plus, i can hace shadows and lightning on highest, and 2x AA without a bad framerate. But if i have all off, and textures on the highest setting the game starts too stutter when turning.
