The courts don't like CDP's/GOG's customer-friendly approach and force them to implement GeoIP for their Witcher 2 sales. Other games on GOG remain unaffected. For now.

Is there still no way to change the FoV in this? I did a quick search and couldn't find anything. Sad

the dragon is a rally hard one. the fucking room gives you little space to move and the strikes do little shit. igni doesn't work that fne neither, even as i have it on the top level. Sad

i guess i should have focus better on the melee abilities rather than the spells.

gonna try tonight some more.

Hmmm maybe that's it. I took the melee combat path and the dragon wasn't too hard to beat.

The game looks nice and all that but it just didn't grab me like the first did, maybe I'll start over at some point

hmmm so how safe it is to download it (from private invite-only site) ?
I want to try it out. It wasnt playable when it came out and Ive heard there was a lot of good patching and it might be a bit better now. I would certainly just go and buy it but I dont want to end with not playable game so I have to try it out first at least.

Does the warning letters only go to germany and from piratebay?

invite only sites are a bit safer than the ones for public consumption. Still, downloading off of file hosters is your best bet... search release name + hoster name (like mediafire) for a start

A snippet about upcoming DLC (that will be available in console release at launch and for PC for free)

Quote:
Best of all, CD Projekt Red added over four hours worth of new missions that feature new characters and locations. The new plot circulates around locating some royal heirs with the help of an alluring spy named Brigida, who had once posed as their caretaker. In playing through a lengthy part of this mission, I fought a number of battles versus brigands and mages aligned against Geralt's efforts to find the truth and saw several new conversation-driven role-playing sequences, like a plot to embroil a nobleman in the kidnapping. Like the rest of the game, excellent writing, smart dialogue, and morally ambiguous character choices characterize these sections.

Great but what's the point of adding it so late. Is it really worth playing through the whole game again? They should make an expansion or a premium DLC so the whole thing is fresh without having to replay.

Who said it won't just be an option in the main menu?

If by "premium" you mean paid DLC - no they definitely should not. Though I agree it needs meatier content than what their previous DLC offered, but it looks like this will be it.

I haven't played the game yet, so I'm happy that when I do I have more content to start with.

So they'll probably add that and the CGI cinematics at the same time. Glad to see they're still doing the DLC thing as it should be done and not ask a quarter of the initial game's price again.

When I say premium DLC I mean as in paid DLC but not short shitty ones, more like an expansion. Similar to DE3's DLC.

comment from gametrailers derp forum Laughing

"The Witcher2 is a great game and people who haven't played it on the pc should be excited. However I really don't understand why some people are expecting it to be the best looking console game. Even the better looking pc version got beaten by UC3 allready so that's not going to happen. "
uc3 is uncharted3 Laughing

Agreed, altho my main problem with Witcher 2 wasn't that the game was "worse", it was just ridiculously short. I'm sure it took me 3-4x as long to finish the campaign from the first game, and the longer narrative gave the game a much more epic feel.

Half the people choke after reaching Flotsam and getting overwhelmed, I believe. That's what happened to me, too. But after some months I'm now back into it, continuing my last save and kicking ass.

Question, I completed TrollTrouble without giving back the head. Can I give it back at a later time and get the hunter armor diagram ?
