If you want to play with 1280x1024 then use this command:
BF2.exe +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1280 +szy 1024
dust.

I really have to say that BF2 is the biggest piece of overhyped shit I've seen. Reminds me of Soldner somehow.
I really hate this arcade-style fighting.
Yes, yes I'm back.
Somewhat.

How do you do ammo reload? Once you are out completely, how do you do the big reload?

You need a support class to give you ammo, or radio to your commander to drop you supplies.
There are no more reload stations. Time to for team work.

I like everything about Battlefield 2, except for the planes. They're too damn fast to controle for me, haha. I liked planes how they were in BF1942.
Ofcourse, it'd be unrealistic to make them that slow, but still.
I'll just refrain from flying then. Heli's are OK, though. Can't fully target yet with them however. Heli's were fantastic to use in BF:V.
I kind of think everybody thinks this though, in BF42 planes were always camped, in BF:V Heli's were always camped. I BF2 game none of them are camped all that much. Now it's the tanks it seems.

Damn I love everything about this game, and the sprint really makes a difference, I love darting past people shooting at me, diving for cover, shootin' back, hangin' with my squad... this game just fits together so well in every respect.
And a little proof of my efforts

sToOz, nice job. I'm not that good at this type of game, but I have not tried it yet. I'll probably stick with the M-47 Dragon, I assume that is the weapon the anti-tank gunners use? I specialized and qualified expert with that weapon in the military so if it's realistic I might do well.
But for the most part I suck at fps when it comes to going up against other people. Hope I still find it entertaining though.

Keeps on crashing 1-6min or so to desktop (no error report) or totally freezes computer to a black screen, tried latest official nvidia drivers and the ones that came along. Tried low/medium/high detail. Always the same. Seems like a great game, runs great, but not very long.. Open for succestions, i'm out, have not restarted my puter so many times this year :D
Asus A7N8X-X (latest bios/NVIDIA unified driver)
xp2600+@2300Mhz (tried underclocking)
6800le@12/6 (tried with orginal pipelines too)
768M Kingston HyperX (2-3-3-8)
XP pro (sp2+updates)

I don't like the demo.
There is something missing but I can't quite put my finger on what it is.

Haha you probably could, you get mad points for being a team player, you get points for filling your role, and just about everything the rest fo your squad does too.
You could probably kick my ass, but my squad has my back.
