Yes, the crashes must be legit version related.

Huh. I actually expected them to be caused by the tons of mods I use. Guess I was wrong

3 crashes here but that was on release week, been completely stable since and mine isn't legit
1 clean CTD no error, 1 screen freeze with looping sound and the other was the bug from the mages guild quest where using a spell while directly facing a magic door crashes the game

Hmm I think (hope so) the CTD's were related to a mod for water -_- Removed it and played fine one hour or so, and didn't had any drops now. hope was because of that...

Also, the mothafacka air element can be real bitch for Lydia Laughing

I never got that quest to complete like that, received it after the MQ and had read the books about him (And what the name meant and his position.) but I was only allowed to kill him to progress that particular quest although it really did anger a certain group of people. Very Happy
(But having restored my status with that other group had much better benefits.)
I finished the main quest before the civil war quest, don't know if that had something to do with it; there was a parlay of sorts where the blades self invited themselves and I believe I got the quest then. Never read the book about him before the quest, but I thought it would have been a waste since he was by far the most memorable character in the game for me.

Indeed. I've used it for about 6 hours so far, and encountered no bugs with it.

Strangely I'm having a lot of ctds with the pirated version, but I guess it's because I'm using a tweaked .ini that somehow exponentially eats resources until everything crashes. Razz

Yep I'm using it but the crashes are still there. Maybe I should reinstall the whole thing without the dozens of mods/tweaks and see what happens.

Use CFF Explorer, works with every (unencrypted) exe.

This should work too (untested):

I've only had two hardware related crashes in 70 hours or so. No mods. In fact, first game related crashes I had were from adding the script extender and the skyui thing the other day. The script extender crashes about 50% of the time on start (but the game and UI mod work fine so I ignore it) and the game itself crashes about 75% of the time when I exit the game. It's an annoyance but doesn't affect the game itself. Smile

So I fought a certain named dragon that begins with an early alphabetical letter. And the fight (the first one only) wasn't that bad. Keep him on the ground, with my follower and the summoned daedra hitting him and me pounding him with the combined fireball. Not so bad.

Then I run into an ancient dragon and I get fucking annihilated. Over and over. I cannot beat that fucker. I finally just had to run away and I'll go back again another time. One hit from his breath destroyed me before I could even drink a potion. Smile

Dead Men's Respite. In the final chamber I didn't have to fire a shot. Before you even get there you have to plow through about 20 Draugr of various strength. All in the same room. And they all die in the same spot. So once Olaf appears I remember that the power I picked from one of those stones earlier in the game was to bring ALL the dead bodies around you back to life to fight for me. So I used that and had every one of those dead bastards pounding the shit out of old Olaf. They lasted long enough to all follow me outside. And then, when the spell wore off it was like the scene in the end of the movie Surrogates. There was a sound and they all just dropped where they were standing.

Now if only I could lure that fucking ancient dragon up there and get all of them to fight for me I might be able to beat that bastard Very Happy

Well of all the texture packs available yours is definitively amongst the best, textures fit in and there's very little upscaling (if any.) along with a natural sharpness without additional filters. Smile

In-game it will definitively look even better with the different game engine shaders and weather adjustments.

EDIT: Also this is one of the few packs that are "complete" and not just replaces a few things here and there, still the game is quite young but it's pretty amazing to see how quick it gets modified and to such a extent too even without the Creation Kit editor. Smile

(This is also a more proper retexture and not just a simple color alteration or filtered and poorly scaled base texture.)

(More texture packs are becoming available and the existing ones updated so things improve constantly, keeping up to date can actually be a bit of a challenge but it's worth it.)

Anyone else gets a crash everytime you enter Hag's End?

It is the quest "Find the Assassin of Old", but everytime I enter Hag's end the game crashes to desktop.

Tried entering through the console, but it also crashes.
