I have been playing MMOs since EQ and UO, and the thought of competitive MMO playing is pathetic. Jesus Christ get a life. It is people like this that have ruined MMOs, and why the WOW community sucks.

Funny how most of the people in top guilds have "more life" than those who aren't. People just bring up the "get a life" comment because of being jelly.
However the WoW community does suck, but not because of the reason you stated.

Jelly of what? Clearly they don't have anything significant in their life otherwise they wouldn't be treating a MMO like its real life.

And what exactly makes something you enjoy more or less significant than what someone else enjoys?
If spending their lives playing MMOs is what they like, then I say go at it. No point in judging people, and thinking you're better than someone just because you might have different priorities.

With a good connection you should be under 300 ms. Don't know what the threshold is for you. In an FPS that is a ridicilously high number but in MMO's not so sure.

I played mostly on US - East servers during beta. Latency was a steady 140-ish. Perfectly playable.

same, East coast server 130ish ms ping average. Not noticable when playing.
But yeah, you have 6-7 hours time difference lol.

I agree, but i won't make a permanent US character just for a guild. Fuck that.

The SWTOR Forums are hilarious. Im unable to comprehend the whining that is going on. Logic or common sense seems a foreign concept there.

With September started and still a wave to go, my theory of them letting everyone in tomorrow sounds fairly solid.

So I'm guessing no spike in December. Hoping I get in friday then.
(That initial "fake" list someone posted seems to be pretty accurate btw)
