Config:
Athlon 1800+ XP 1550 mhz
GeForce4 Ti 4800 SE 64MB
256MB RAM
And how will it run? It ran perfectly Vice City on high resolution.
it takes a lot to create a lot.

damn it.
No matter what resolution and how much details I choose my frame rate is choppy(15 to 20 FPS). The frame rate is same even if I chose 1600*1200 high details or 640*480 Low details.
My configs are:
Radeon 9800 pro
1 GB dual channel DDR
P4 3.2
Please help.

Maybe I am. But its still working perfectly for me. There has to be SOME difference between my machine and yours, give more details of your systems and we can narrow it down.
My point is this. IF our systems are the same, and mine works, its a user error. If you say this is not the case, lets figure out whats different.
My soundcard is a Soundblaster Audigy 1, all of my onboard devices are OFF aside from my network card and Im using Intels 865 chipset.

still getting the odd crash after some cutscenes, it starts to bug you when you just took over 3 large gang areas too, meh

I'm having absolutly no problems with the game, it runs great. I had very low framerates at first, but i turned off AA in the ATI driver menu, and turned on AA in the game at level 3 and now it runs great. My specs are:
P4E 3GHz (Intel D865PERLK Motherboard)
1024MB Ram (Original Samsung)
ATI X800XL (Sapphire , Cat. 5.5)
Soundblaster Live 1024 Player (WDM Driver, no drivers from creative!)
And i'm running the game with the following settings:
1280x960
AA level 3 (set in the game menu)
AF 8x (settings in the ATI driver menu)
everthing else in the game is set to max (draw distance etc.)

Just get over it. Graphics don't mean jack. If they made a whole new engine for the PC it 1) wouldn't be the same game and 2) would take a much longer time to port it to PC. It's a great game and the graphics don't hurt it at all.

Hello
And i have problem with this game.
I play a while and after that a have got a blue screen 
On blue screen i see - DRIVER IRQ NOT EQUAL OR LESS or something like that - and dropping memory to hard disk
That errors come from file "nv***"(i don't remember full name) 
I have GF FX 5700 and newest drivers from nvida number 71.33 - i think that is beacuse graphic card drivers.
Never in past i don't have that problem
Please help

have anyone tried both PC and Xbox version and have a comment on what they prefer? The PC version is very good, I'm just haveing a little problem with the controls.. I think this is a gamepad game.

I have all 3 and find Xbox version is all but identical to the PS2 version, but I find the PC version superior because of the sharper graphics and added aa/af. But i do play my PC version with a dual action logitech (PS2 control clone) as i thought using the keyboard and mouse sucked so badly.
This game was designed to use an analogue pad (creeping round houses, motorbike stunts with weight shifting endos and wheelies, car camera control, flying planes,helicopters,jetpacks ect..ect) ... i like the auto aim too with the pad though i always have the option of grabbing the mouse but that takes all the skill out of it

This is either a driver or IRQ issue. I would suggest changing your drivers, give these a try: http://www.omegadrivers.net/ |
