nah, i believe the unofficial release date is 15 dec, makes sense to boost preorders.
The swtor website still advertises preorder! get early acces. What would ea win with a later acces, it will only angry some people, not in their interest.

like i said earlier, if the servers can handle the stress I think everyone who preordered will be given 5 days access, this as to not upset the people who mistook up to 5 days early access to guaranteed 5 days if you pre order.
Hoping everything goes smoothly so I can play this during the weekend, would suck to have to wait til monday.
Dont mess with God, he can impregnate your girlfriend/wife without taking his pants off!

Honestly, it's a bit silly that there's still no official info. Servers are supposed to get up tomorrow, and people still don't know when they'll be able to play.

Btw its safe to assume, that they have a lot of servers in "backup" which they will add to the list, once the initial servers have been filled up.

There's a difference between there not being any info, and you simply not having read the info.
They've said you will get the notification when you're able to play.

"You'll get an e-mail" is no info for me. If I actually got one (since it's, I don't know... a frickin day before Early Access starts?) - that would be info. But right now, it's just a lot of people asking a lot of questions, without any actual answers aside from "somewhere between 13-20th".

people act like bioware/ea owe them something for giving them access to the game early free of charge. its a smart move not to give an exact date as mmo launches are complicated and the game might end up being delayed.

There is some info to be found but yes, this is nothing new at all. Most MMO launches have been this way, the less announcements and info they give out, the less people can call them out on their bullshit/mistakes/whatever.
Typical business practice.
Getting shit for not saying anything is better than getting shit for saying something that either wasn't true or didn't end up being true. Just look at the launch of Warhammer Online in EU, that was a fucking disaster and that developer/publisher kept mighty quiet during that ordeal. |
Warhammer Online, that was the most horrible launch I even experienced (EU side). It was even worse then Age of Conan. I hope EA have learned their mistake to not outsource it to some other company like GOA. What a joke that was, nothing worked, keys got disabled, website did not work, couldn't download the game etc.

But WAR was also very tight when they stresstested it. It was when they involved GOA it got fucked, it pretty much destroyed the game for everyone in EU. But I doubt they will make that mistake again.

About the early access:
people who activated their key in;
June / July, will get access to the game at 6.59 am (GMT +1) / dec. 13th 2011.
August, will get access to the game at 5.59 pm (GMT +1) / dec. 13th 2011.
September, will get access to the game at 6.59 am (GMT +1) / dec. 14th 2011.
October, will get access to the game at 5.59 pm (GMT +1) / dec. 14th 2011.
November,will get access to the game 6.59 am (GMT +1) / dec. 15th 2011.
Everyone else gets access on the 15th around 6 pm GMT +1
(i cant give the source of this).

Just for the record, I don't really care about early access. But I think you're grossly wrong here.
Early Access is part of the product purchase when pre-ordering this game, as such they OWE me early access for pre-ordering it. As for when they decide to give me early access, that's up to them since I automatically agreed with the "UP to 5 days early" description of the pre-order details when I pre-ordered it.
But I am most definitely entitled early access and they OWE me this.
And just to prove this to you, go to the SWTOR site, click on the pre-order ad and see the product details, I'll quote it for you:
"Includes Origin £5 Pre-Order Fee"
Explanation on this "pre-order fee":

That's quite funny actually, one would think every single MMO-developer would learn from the previous incarnation of MMO developers mistakes but yet somehow, MOST of them mess up their launches horribly. I have to say however, that Rift had a very good launch in comparison to other MMOs in the past. |
Maybe if you order it through that site, but i didnt pay any pre-order fee where i ordered it from...
also i can choose to not pickup my hard copy of the game and not buy it and still play the game til the 19th so dont know...

finally got proper email and not some broken wall of text telling me to relog.. and they have no info about my early access code.. while god damn ea help told they have.. with 4 days reply speed, ea will end before they fix this crap
