So most of you are probably wondering how these "gaming" laptops runs games. I was wondering this aswell until i saw it myself. Results are awesome (considering that im graphics whore and cant play on low fps any game ).
MSI GT683R
The GPU in this laptop is GTX 560M 1.5GB 192bit (Overclocked it to 900 Core with Afterburner, default 775 ). These are MXM cards (mobile PCI-E) so its pretty safe to overclock aslong temps are fine. Temps didnt increase at all since no voltage adjusting wasnt needed. There is also 2Gb and 3GB models, but they are weaker than 1.5GB model since they are using 128 bit bus.
Overclocking gave significant boost to fps. Temps for GPU 80c max, and around 75 for CPU. Getting Coolermaster U3 cooling pad which should reduce temps about 5-10c (not that temps are problem now, perfectly fine tbh, but cooler the better).
CPU is i7 2630QM, cannot be overclocked. But has Turbo (2.8Ghz) + HT. Performance is similar to previous gen desktop i7 950. Which is pretty awesome for a laptop.
Also have 120GB SSD for Games / OS + 8GB DDR3.

Gaming tests @ native 1080p (Trine 2, Battlefield 3, Batman AC)
Trine 2: Everything on highest settings, expect that ludicrous AA (only FXAA on). Solid 60fps at all times.
Battlefield 3 (this is teh shit ): Everything on High expect textures are on ultra, FXAA on highest. Yes the game runs on 64 player servers around 40fps all times, which is very nice result, and also very playable.
Batman AC: DX11 settings off since they dont still work without stutters. Everything else on highest setting (FXAA highest) and PhysX on normal. Runs 40fps+ all times, without PhysX its solid 60fps and more at all times.
As you can see, yes tiny 15,6" laptop can run latest games pretty nicely If you want i can test out more games (have those only installed at the moment). Perfectly enough for me at the moment (even sold my main rig GPU´s now when i can get nice money out of them, and waiting for new ones).
Also keep in mind that you can upgrade these new laptops pretty easily (costs tho ). Ebay for MMX cards and CPU´s. This MSI model can be upgraded with 6990M / 580M card which are very powerfull laptop cards. CPU should last for a long time.

Personally I really can't find a scenario where a gaming laptop would be useful for me.
Maybe if I was a truck driver or something.

i can play sc2 on it, but from time to time i want to play lets say swtor like 2-3 weekends ago.

I kinda regret buying gaming laptop.
Its heavy and battery is shit, does not even last 3hrs on light browsing+skype. And I care for my battery.
It has i7, 4gb of ram, and 5770 and is also 3D enabled. Sometimes play WoW on it. Pretty awesome, for movies too.
My next laptop will be probably one of those ultra thin, like macboor air
That reminds me. I need to buy new memory because shit runs at 800mhz and drive which is runs at 5200rmps...no SSD is the suck yo!

I could use one when I go out of state to visit friends who are PC gamers. Honestly, I don't even know why they include batteries anymore lol, you have to keep them plugged in while gaming anyways.
