The second level is terrible so far, Sam was never about annoying enemies like these, half the time I'm getting hit but can't find the buggers because they're running about the walls

The game is a bit strange based on the first levels, not what I was expecting, I'm hoping it picks up

The default gfx options for my version had a gaussian blur filter on from the start which really didn't help, it was hurting my eyes and didn't look good

I need to run the game as an administrator or it refuses to run, shame it took me 2 hours to figure that out Sad

Yeah, but i cheated passed it.At least there is no big game bugs, caused by triggers for now.

In general, a campaign game at the "Under the Iron Cloud" checks where it is installed. And you want it to be installed as it should be - on Steam.

In short, put the game in the X: \ Program Files \ Steam \ steamapps \ common \ serious sam 3 and start from scratch. Magically, I do not twirled. Checked twice.

Oh god I enjoy this game so much, all my old Serious Sam instincts kick in again. Pistol, aim at kamikaze, 1-2, aim at next, 1-2... pull shotgun, wait for kleers to jump at me, blast + sidestep away... bull coming at me, dual barrel shotgun, blast, jump to side, turn around, wait for bull to come back, blast in face bull carcass comes to stop at my feet; giant rocket droid incoming, pick rocket launcher, aim at enemy, 1-2-3-4-5 rockets away, switch back to shotgun and continue battling kleers not even checking if the rocket guy is down, because I just know he is.

I missed Sam so much :'(

Are you guys playing on Tourist difficulty with god mode or what? I am on my playthrough on normal, about level 7 now, and I did die a couple of times in the last 2 levels. It's never too hard or too easy, so exactly how normal should be.

Serious Sam has never been about a great story or brilliant level design, it's more about open areas and tons of enemies and you being in constant motion, always aware where all the enemies are relative to you and taking them out according to threat priority.

If you play it on a too low difficulty or with god mode/infinite ammunition a lot of the fun of the game is gone and you have the time to actually care about story or your surroundings, and I agree, both of those lack, but that has always been the case with Serious Sam. The engine is great though, I love the explosions and light effects it produces.

The really large enemy encounters only happen on the later levels unless you up the difficulty, also those early city environments (First three maps?) are pretty dull though there's a lot to explore at least, usually takes quite some time trying to go after some of those more hidden items and extras. Smile
(That gnar eyeball at the start of the game for one example.)

From what I've read the signature error comes from using the SignatureCatalog.dat from the crack

As for the trigger it may well affect your saves once it hits, that would explain what's happening there but I'm just guessing

Game gets a little better further in but jesus how repetitive can a game get? Walk over to some powerups, wave of enemies comes in, you kill them all. Take 4 steps forward, more enemies spawn. Rinse and repeat for the whole game. Not to mention it contains the worst fucking enemies ever conceived in a game, those fucking Kleer! Ill finish it but only because I've played so far but there is just no variety whatsoever in this game. The fact that they are charging the same for this as Arkham City is ridiculous.

Is this your first SSam game? Because you don't seem to like it, while IMO it's an AMAZING sequel (or prequel)!

And I dunno about your country but on Steam SS3 is 28 euros while Arkham City is 50 euros here. Hardly the same price.

I paid £27.99 on Steam for Arkham City and SS3 is £29.99 so in fact more expensive. While it's not my first SS game it is the first I've played longer than a couple of hours and now I now why stopping early is a good thing with these games.

Arkham City is £34.99 on Steam, I just checked it. If you managed to get it cheaper, then it's obviously through some other store, right? So, in fact, it's more expensive. I'm sure if you really wanted, you could find SS3 cheaper as well.

No, it was through steam, I got a fiver off for owning AA and then the 10% pre-order price. I know which service I have the game on. So yeah, cheaper than what SS3 currently is on Steam. I'm not lying FFS. SS3 is in no way a £29.99 game. You've pretty much seen all the game has to offer at around the 3 hour mark.
