^^ this tbh. People aren't getting their money's worth with WoW. It's become a milking cow for Blizzard.

Whole Cataclysm with 12 months of Sub, isnt worth the content they made past 12 months, for that kind of money i could buy bunch of other games rather than this one, blizzard just failed for me, i wont even bother buying Diablo 3, as i can sense it will be led in same path as WoW.

I think you're comparing apples and oranges. Diablo 3 does not have a subscription whereas WoW does. A subscription based game has to justify it's cost for every payment. A retail game only has to justify the cost once.
If you're saying that it's not worth subscribing for a 12 month WoW deal in order to get D3 for free, then you are perfectly correct. But I do believe D3 will be worth every $, £ or € if you buy it as a single purchase. If you look at history Blizzard has also been updating Diablo II for many many years after initial release.

By the looks of it, D3 will NOT be just a retail game. The microtransactions (real money AH) will make sure this game will bring more money to the table than the initial retail price.
Nevertheless, we'll see how things will affect the single player gamers. But on the MP side, yea... it resembles somewhat with WoW - as in focus on massive itemisation (and time or money required to get those items).

I'm fine, how they release content patches. I don't understand why people QQ about new content when 99% will never kill Deathwing on heroic mode. So technically, they still have not completed current content and want new one?!?
Looking For Raid brought whole new douchebags, wannabie elitists casuals pulling 7K who can't play their class. I sometimes wish those people are just trolls, just to wipe the raid on purpose but WoW players are just that terrible!

So by just raising the difficulty to the point of impossible ensures there's plenty of content indefinitely? I don't agree with your rationale.
I'm not in a position to tell other people what they think is fun or value for their hard earned money though. I just know that I think the PvP in WoW is pointless and doing the same dungeons over and over gets boring fast. To me it does. If you're having fun then great justice to you. It's probably the same reason i reckon I will get bored of SWTOR in a few months. The PvP is without consequences and the end-game content will get boring after a few runs/re-runs or tries at least.

I don't really care about end-game content because it lost appeal to me
I have more fun leveling alts, proffesions doing new darkmoon faire, collecting pets/mounts doing achievements
Fun is really objective in WoW
As blizzard said, MoP, will be based more on Horde Vs Alliance

so as retarded as it is, i called it before cata even came out, they'd dumb down the talent trees and eventually axe their usefulness entirely, i pity anyone who still plays this.

I hope they bring something really new... the wow as far as we know it just got so unbelievable boring. Everyone has a trazillion characters at lvlcap.
The funny thing is, you can see wow nerds by their looks. Just met some guy, and my first thought was "that has to be a wow nerd", and really... 7 days a week raid and top200 in europe. lol!

yeah. I don't play wow but my friend does. With all this money.... all the dlc should be free. More often. More updates etc...
its like paying subscription for a site but then buying all the shows separate

Not everybody, for example myself because frankly its too easy, unless you play like idiot. But for example priest or mage at later stages get problems with mana,
since you need talents to withstand higher mana usage at level 15+. Its not hard, but tedious and boring, because you need to drink like a old drunk.
I got paladin to LVL 36 38 40 and 41 and then got pissed already to try Warrior, which i still play now.
Its nice challenge, but would be interesting to play it at WOW vanilla times, it would make it even harder.
When i started to try ironman challenge i wished that Blizzard could add some kind of achiev and other support, but as i see it now, its not going to happens, since it would need class rebalance.
Im going to play it until something better will be released, for example Guild Wars II.
Anyone who is going to try Ironman Challenge, good luck.

Quote: | Cross-Realm Zones Coming to Beta
In the World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria beta, we’re introducing a new technology that will enable players to meet up and group with other players in under populated areas of the world such as low level zones or areas that other players may have outleveled or moved on from. This technology will allow players to form a group with other players from within a select pool of realms in order to quest just like they normally would while still allowing the social structures of their home realms to remain intact... |

If they can pull it off with many servers at once and all the zones, then that would be awesome. Like everyone is playing on 1 big server.
