So, has this game been properly patched up yet? As in I wont have to spend hours trying to get it working with DX11?

My friends are bugging me to get the PC version, but since I have already completed it on the 3shitty, I have no immediate plans to download the 15GB data. So could someone please tell me if there are any issues with the Black Box rip? If yes, then which would be the best "bug-free" release at the moment?

How so? They should be right there in My Documents\WB Games\Batman Arkham City\SaveData\. Unless I'm missing something? In fact, if you use Win7 or Vista and have system protection enabled, you might be able to recover them by right-clicking on the folder where saves are located, selecting properties and then "Previous Versions". Might not be the most recent, but better than nothing.

Don't know about Blackbox.
The P2P-Steam-unlocked release + NeoGame crack works like a charm.

Hmm, well I am using a pirated version (which means I have a local LIVE profile), and I can back up my saves without a problem. I just tried to restore a previous version and they work fine. I was going to buy this, but maybe I shouldn't?

Backup your gamesaves from My Documents\WB Games\Batman Arkham City\SaveData Try to create a online GFWL account and then the savegames should dissapear even if you put them back to "mydocuments..." folder.

I haven't purchased a game since Deus Ex 3. And haven't played a game since end of October I believe. Is this game worth the buy? I was debating whether to buy this and DL skyrim or DL this and buy skyrim
EDIT: Oh wait I also have a russain version of BF3 that I forgot about

So is there any point in applying the patch and playing in DX11 with a GTX460 or am I better off with DX9 performance wise.

So, I did that and here are the results. Firstly, on a positive note the patch has eliminated or at the very least made less frequent the startup crashes that I experienced. DX11 is another story though, although it at least doesn't turn the game into a lagfest anymore... In DX9 I get 40-50 FPS outside in the city with everything on max with 2XAA and PhysX on normal @ 1080p (Of course the overall framerate can go significantly lower if there is some heavy PhysX stuff going on but the drops are infrequent enough to keep PhysX on). In DX11 the framerate drops to around 25-30 FPS and enabling tesselation gives another 2-5 FPS drop. Since the visual difference is barely noticeable I'm gonna stay with DX9.

From the Torture Chamber (the big one with the shark) go to the right. You'll have an encounter with Harvey Dent.
