just a reencoded tc. not clear enough for a dvdsource. sound is crappy and on cd 2 you see brandmarkes

btw , when this is a real dvdrip , why have this relase not 5.1 or dd! no only a crappy 2 channel ( every one can make 2 channel with a mic sound )

yep its a TC maybe vontexx is getting mixed up with a TC and TS

Info about TC

TELECINE (TC)A telecine machine copies the film digitally from the reels. Sound and picture should be very good, but due to the equipment involved and cost telecines are fairly uncommon. Generally the film will be in correct aspect ratio, although 4:3 telecines have existed. A great example is the JURASSIC PARK 3 TC done last year. TC should not be confused with TimeCode , which is a visible counter on screen throughout the film.

one thing about this release is that it will not play on certain dvd players that are incompatible with QPEL. if you hop over to vcdquality.com, read the posts about this problem. may be there's a way to work around it.

About Hitman: Movie (2007)
Vin Diesel is a hardcore gamer, and absolutely loves the Hitman series. For that reason I have faith that he wont destroy the movie.

Response: Well, Uwe Boll probably loved the Alone in the Dark games.

sweet...

honestly, who really cares whether it's a TC or DVD rip... at some point, the quality transcends "watchable" and goes into "great"... such is the case. Just enjoy it.

If anyone really cares, just dload a cam and play both back to see if the cut is the same or if it's a proto/final of the DVD release (ripped from an industry screener, maybe?)

thanks for pointing this release out I had grabbed the workprint, cdrs internal (or whatever there called) and the Mof and all releases had problems - missing scenes, russian text, sync issues, gamma problems on somes scenes, counters etc but for me with a little tweaking the quality of the Mof and the other internal was very good for what they were and considering the fact that the film was only out recently.

The internal that you make mention of however having just leeched and previewed several scenes is top notch and for me comparable to some dvd-rips irrespective of whether its a TC, TS or proper dvd-rip looks very much like a high quality rip when ran from a largescreen tv so yes until the retail DVD-R comes out im very pleased with this. The screenshots don't do it justice.

Thx man Very Happy

There's some speculation that it's a telecine from a digital print. Regardless, it's the best quality release out there. I only hope they release the DVD-R source. Razz

The thing is that when i checked the sample floating about, i think the colors are a bit bland and the image is out of focus Crying or Very sad
I mean when i look at the coruscant city shots, it looks like is out of focus...
I went to see the movie on a cinema and i tell you, now that was great colors! Rolling Eyes

no, i'm not smoking anything!! Cool

Why is that ? A bad rip? Nobody knows where this come from? Confused
TC?
DVD-rip?

Very good quality but I've seen TCs better than this, I can live with some artifacts in some frames cause on TV you can't notice the difference only if you watch it on a pc monitor..
Thanx for this fast and good release guys...

There's been several re-encodes of this. There's an independent release listed on VCD Quality that someone slapped a basic menu on (just one "play" button). Watch out for this crap. It is missing the ending! This is not an authoring issue. Loading the final VOB file into an editor such as MPEGVCR reveals that the last couple of minutes are completely missing. My best guess is that someone fed the XviD release into a standalone DVD recorder to create this. They probably used the 2-hour record mode and that's why it is cut off.

There is a KKi release (NTSC DVD-R) that has equal picture quality, audio in the proper channels, better menu (chapters, etc.), and English subtitles. I'll stick to that until the real source is released.

Star.Wars.Episode.III.Revenge.of.the.Sith.iNTERNAL.READNFO.DVDR-KKi

Code:
ntsc w/ menu
english subtitles
dolby digtal 2.0
audio is in sync

note
the orignal xvid had the audio channels switched so in this version i've switched them back.  also it has a kick ass menu to it, makes you feel like your actually using the retail dvd.  and to top this off this is the first release with subs.  thanks to the people from the alt.binaries.dvdr crew.  enjoy and may the force be with j00.

Check the DVDR newsgroup if you can't find it. Wink
