Also shutdown buildings you don't need, since they cost quite a lot for upkeep. Building maintenance is the biggest drain on your finances. Or if you are overproducing a lot of goods sell them directly to the AI (you can even make a trade route that sells to the AI)

btw is it possible to set a limit on warehouses of how much of a good you want to take via ships ? For example i want to set up a trade route. On this route, i want the ship to pick up Fish in A and deliver it to B. BUT i want the Fish reserves in A never to drop below "x".

is it ?

Yup. Select the warehouse, right-click the good to set a minimum amount. Ships will only take goods if the stores are above the amount you set.

Yeah, right click on the goods' icon and set the limit. I think it's even there in some tooltip.

i just finished the campaign (3 missions; 11 chapters total) for this excellent game after 9h 56m of off and on play. Smile

i have everything maxed out at 2560x1600. this is one beautiful game! from the rolling clouds to the water (and underwater!) waving about, the world just looks gorgeous. Razz

no xb360 pad support though. which is a crying shame. Sad

i ended with over 5460 number of inhabitants. it does get tedious after a while trying to figure out what you need to build to build something else. at least, the map doesn't reset after each chapter in the mission so you don't need to rebuild everything over again. being able to build underwater and researching a ton of stuff through the academy, does make thing interesting. Wink

after the campaign, there are two more modes to mess around with -- single missions and continuous. i'm sure i'll do them both when i'm finished playing some other games (damn you skyrim, you keep sucking me back in...). Rolling Eyes

that one 'single mission' mode one I did last night was a DAMN pain!

the one where you have to defeat all 3 expanding AI, the ship raiding bitch that spits ships at you like a rat giving birth, build both monuments, AND have 5000 Eco executives, 5000 tycoon executives, and 2500 researchers all at once to win..

took me 8 hours nonstop to do it, and was nearly impossible. (to me)

Would someone be so kind as to answer me a question about this game and one about Steam games?

1. I bought Skyrim, but did not realise it was a Steam game (its been a long long time since I thought any game worth buying). Anyway can I now sell this? Obviously I had to register it on Steam with my number but I do not know if the number is transferrable.

2. If I bought Anno 2070 retail from a shop, not online. Would that be bloody Steam too?

I know the Skyrim bit should go in the Skyrim thread but have you seen the size of that now?

Anyway, cheers for any help

Noone is going to buy a used Steamworks game. It's nothing but a useless piece of plastic.

While this game isn't a Steamworks game, it still requires you to activate it through Ubisoft's services. This also makes it useless in resale value.

Cheers mate I guessed it would be pointless to try and sell it, was just not sure if the key could be used on a maximum of say 2 computers or somesuch. As I said its the first dealings I have had with Steam.

This sort of greed by publishers is just one more reason to pirate games in my opinion.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

watching the youtube videos i noticed the missions only take bout 20 to 30 min to finish, but because of these weird bugs i wasted 4 hours, trying to figure what im missing or overlooked.
restarting the map worked for me though, still im wondering if more people have this problem.

On Topic/ After finally getting it to run, solidcore.dll was being wacked by NOD 32, its good fun! Glad I fought through the problem. And thanks for the poster about the solution.
