Would I benefit from playing first two games? Ive never played them. Some say SR2 is best in the trilogy

The second game is one of the worst PC ports in history, if you're going to play it, play it on a console. It's really that bad. Mercenaries 2 takes the crown but SR2 is almost up there with it.

no worry. SR1 and 2 are ready to play on derpbox. ive played this also on it. PC version was to laggy(even tho 360 wasnt perfect too)

Hi guys.. anyone else than me got problems to turn the "camera" on mission 2 ? I only see the guy from the side not from the back.. if you understand what I mean.. Nothing happens when I move the mouse and trying to aim.. its working on other games and first time I have seen this problem... When I restarted the game .. I couldnt move the aim there as well.. but it worked when I first played mission 1

Did the rest of you installed the game on C: or have you installed the game on different drives ?

I installed it on another drive anyway...

Installed it on D: (Legit steam version though) and have no problems.
I tried the cracked version first before buying and had no problems either.

Can it maybe have something to do with that I used alt-tab when I played and had to check somethng on the internet and the game crashed when I clicked alt-tab? But it should not make the movement to be corrupt or how to say it.. ? or can it happen? even if I restart the game.. and reinstall it? I have used systemcare now .. maybe it will be okey... I found a lot of crap on the computer.. will try to reinstall it again Smile

Some people on the internet say not to replace the steam_api.dll .. but when I do that.. it seems like the game wont start.. and some people say to use smartsteam or something like that.. I dont remember the name.. but I never use steam except for CS that I dont play so much nowadays..

They are only faking that they are PC MASTER race and have ultra gaming rigs.

Theyve all finished SR3 on derporzorobox and are just trolling pc forum Cool Face

damn the game wont work properly ... the camera is not moving with the character when I am playing the game at all now.. I have tried to reinstall the game like 3 or 4 times.. searched and deleted registry files for the game and deleted the save game files... is it something you can tell me what to do?

1 I installed the game
2 I copied all the files from the skidrow crack folder and pasted them in the game folder
3 I blocked both steam and Saints row.exe's on the firewall..
4 I have tried 2 different mices in the game without success

I am using direct-x 9 because I am using windows xp and the system req say that windows xp will work

After having finished SR3, I am now playing SR2 and must say it is better than the third, not technically of course but gameplay wise. It's much more diverse, you just can do more, and Stillwater seems to be much bigger than Steelport. But that's just my opinion of course. Smile
They should port it over to the SR3 engine and sell it as DLC or just release the source code to it so the community can fix it.

Just sending how to start the game if the game crash at start up

Does your game crash on load, freeze after launch, or right before the menu shows? There are several remedies you can try then.
– Set the compatibility mode to the game to “Windows XP”
– Run the game directly instead of using the generated shortcut
– Check your game cache / revalidate it to ensure you have okay files
– Run the game in DirectX 9 mode
– If you use multiple monitors, then disable one of them
– Exit any program that could mess with the game
– Run the game in a different, more common resolution
