ui overhaul
animations overhaul
full hq texture mod
crafting expanded
broken-anti-monster-scaler-that-doesn't-work but people will praise it anyway |
Actually I've downloaded about 2GB worth of mod's from Skyrim Nexus already but it's more for visual asthetics with little performance hit and the game looks a gazillion times better but that's as far as i've gone to modding and there are some good ones. I've put in 72 hours into the game since release and still haven't touched the main story o.O loving it. When I get a chance i'll post some of the screenshots i've taken.

There is no fire mate, anyone who truly believes Skyrim != Gamebryo is just.... well... they're beyond helping and thus not worth conversing with.

fVisibleNavmeshMoveDist=14000.0000
The first two remove that shitty auto aiming arc (or whatever it is) while the second will allow you to hit anything for as far as your draw distance allows, apparently.
After using the first two I immediately noticed the bows work as they should. I'm pretty sure that arc is there so that when you aim for the body you actually hit the head. My guess is because most people would aim for that and Beth are compensating, it could be something else but I don't see what else would make much sense.
Same info at the bottom of this page: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Archery |
oh yeah nice, thank you for this too, seems im getting more critical strikes as well, seeing that arrow land right in my crosshair is great !

Is there any real advantage in buying a house ? Maybe I should just spend my 6000 gold in 1-handed training.

Saving and hordering stuff? Like smithing materials, unique weapons and armor, and other crap. Also, simply for the roleplaying? And if you marry someone, your spouse will move into your house. And if you're a Thane your housecarl, of the hold in which the specific house is, will also move in.

Check Zero Punctuation: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim from ~3:22 to ~3:33. Spoiler: | |

Forgive me for asking, cause there's a lot of pages to search through, but is it possible to install the mods on the razor release and if so, how? Apparently no steam copy means you're a dirty ass pirate so there's no answer on google that I can find.

Yep. Download Nexus Mod Manager and use that to manage the mods, makes easy work of it.

I find them quite nice and varied. Don't disregard the misc quest though, some lead to bigger SQs (e.g. "bring me ten of X" --> when brought another quest starts).
