It was on my birthday. I wasn't feeling enthusiastic when I woke up. On my way downstairs to have my breakfast and coffee I thought that my wife will definitely wish me happy birthday and she obviously have a present for me like it has happened so many times.
When I got downstairs she didn't even say "Good morning" not to mention that she did not wish me "Happy birthday".
OK, my kids will remember me for sure, I thought but NOTHING. They just sat down at the table and remained silent.
When I was about to leave for work I was a bit disappointed and felt bad.
I walked into my office and my assistant Jane welcomed me: "Good morning boss and happy birthday!"
I was feeling better, at least someone remembered.
It was 12 o'clock when Jane entered my office and said: "It is such a beatiful day you know and it is your birthday. What do you think if we went for lunch, only you and me...?"
"Great idea! That is the best thing I've heard today. Let's go!", I said.
So we went but we did not go to the same place our office usually has their lunch but we drove outside the down to a small private place. We had two martinis and enjoyed a great meal.
On our way back, my assistant said to me: "You know, it is such a beautiful day. We do not have to go back to the office, do we?"
"I think we don't" I replied.
"Let's go to my place" she said. And we did.
When we arrived to her apartment, she said: "I'll go to bedroom and put on something comfortable if you don't mind?"
"OK, sure, sure!" I replied enthusiastically. "It was still going to be my best day ever!" I thought.
Jane disappeared into her bedroom and came out after five minutes with a big birthday cake with candles and everything!
...and after her my wife, kids and at least 15 friends walked in and sang "Happy birthday to you..."
...and there I was sitting in my assistant's living room, scared stiff and...
...FUCKING NAKED!!!
