OK, so I find this Ysgramor's Tomb and Im in the room with the Statue (by entrance)...
It looks like you can go 3 different ways, but dont know how to lower/open the walls...

Someone been there and done that, please help... Very Happy..

a lot of those tombs have a series of rooms that connect via 'secret' doors. i walked around in one for ages wondering wtf to do and finally saw the chain or handle-on-a-rock that let me into the first room of the sequence. once you get into the first one the rest are (at least the ones i have seen) just small rooms with more chains/levers until you get the prize and get funneled back out into a main hallway.

Yeh, Ive been looking like hell in there, over hours didnt see any Chain/Button on Floor/Rocks or anywhere...So I just left hoping someone here knew...he he

Holy Flying horses Batman... Damn I just killed everyone at a Fort and was looking on how to climb a mountain to a Shrine and a FLYING HORSE said CABLAMMO into the side of the mountain full speed... I laughed so fucking hard... It was Pegasus's brother no doubt... Very Happy

No civilization near either, so he must have flown through the entire game and landed there.... ha ha ha...

I like how they made Vokun's mask sellable. Nice move.

You need it for something later in the game?
Good thing I didn't sell it.

They are all sellable, they are not specifically quest items as such and which of those ten or so masks is "best" kinda depends on the player. Razz
(I certainly do like how that last one looks but it's not all that useful other than as a ornament in my opinion.)

What do you mean? You need eight masks to place on the altar thingy. I assumed it was part of a quest I didn't get yet.

Yup, just checked and I still have it. Very Happy
Although I think certain items like these stick with the shoppers who you sell them too(been selling all the dragon claws to that riverwood trader and he still has them all), tracking it down would still be a pain.

I sell stuff all over the place, so I couldn't find it. The beauty of Beth games? Almost anything is fixable via console.

Ah I was unclear, I meant it with how they are not part of a actual quest and thus not marked as quest items (Which prevents dropping and selling them.) It's usually called a unmarked quest (Especially with Fallout 3 though it was in Oblivion also.) and it's often pretty simple like finding a hidden item or discovering a random encounter. Smile

Though yeah the console commands would easily fix any problems with misplacing them. Smile
(Merchants restock after a certain time but also when you load the game up again so unless it's bought back immediately it can be difficult to backtrack to re-purchase a item.)

I was waiting for the patch to play the game but I guess it broke stuff. Should I wait a bit more and play Vanilla Skyrim or are some mods recommended?

1 and 2 are still amazing.

Haven't found any issues so far, dragons work as intended and resistances were fixed by the community so 1.2 works OK here.

Not saying there aren't bugs or anything, I encounter a variety of quirks every now and then, "Valynaz" for example was something I noticed while battling Dremora, should have been "Valkynaz" though spelling mistakes aren't all that important.
(There's a huge rock near the alchemists shack location that's tilted 90o degrees so it's kinda glitched as it has no bottom - model optimization.)

Are you trying to enter the cave from the exit location? just re-enter from the start area. Smile
(I don't think bodies containing quest items do disappear but you should probably hurry to loot that body.)

EDIT: By default it also takes ten days for "cleared" locations to re-spawn, that cleared tag is still going to be there however. Smile
(Usually occurs by killing the boss of the dungeon, music also changes to signify this - plus subtler notes when finding alternate paths or say the final treasure chamber.)

pro noob tip: keep track of your objectives..

problem was the cave is FUCKING HUGE, takes 5mins+ to speed run it...

so i quick travelled back to start, and did just that...since it's the main purpose of the mission to get that DRAGONSTONE it was still in the corpse...

other problem was the boss who had it was near the very end of the cave...YAH..

Five minutes? Aww Yeah Wait till you reach dungeons/tombs so far my biggest one counted up to 1h and half Laughing

Just enter again, from where you should, NPC's should be a problem since they don't spawn on each second.

Is there any kind of quest that involves all the priest masks? Like can you place them all on an alter and it unlocks a room or something?

I hope they release a DLC soon Razz Kinda bored now that I've done almost every side quest and finished the main story.

Well, I can't get the Brotherhood questline to trigger. I talked to the people specified in the wiki but that didn't help. Ran over Windhelm looking for the residence where this kid is supposed to be performing the black sacriment but no luck so far.

Any help?

Well, find the house and lockpick into it. It's around the wall corridors. There is a kid and a woman there talking about it (but maybe not on all hours lol)

I really wish there was a marker on the map or a blip on the compass for your companion
Just lost Lydia in Blackreach after asking her to wait, had to loop all the way back to the beginning from outside in skyrim to find her heh Laughing

i have done that a few times too. i was reading on one of the wikis about it and apparently, if you leave them somewhere for too long you will get a msg saying that they got bored and went home (to where you met them or to your house).

Heh, for some reason the thought of a companion just "getting bored" while waiting in a dark catacomb filled with monsters is really funny to me.

Like they just yawned and went, "fuck it. I'm going home" then just casually walked out of there like a boss.
