i lost the right channel... no idea how it happened, i didnt drop em i didnt bend or crush the cable, i just put em down for 5 minutes and when i put them back on, the channel was gone.

now these are a 5.1 headset and i really loved em, and now im looking for something to replace them - recommendations? im not sure if id really want to go back to stereo after having surround for so long.

razer has a new 7.1 set coming out - would that be worth getting? or are they shit?

How the fuck do you get this tought?

I got true 5.1 for almost 1.5 years now, never had a single problem with them not being compatible with ANYTHING...

I'd hardly call 5.1 headphones a "true" surround though Smile

why? if you have all the speakers in the right positions, it is true. No matter how you twist or turn it.

Ok mr chiv, i wouldn't go for 7.1 tho, 5.1 would be more then sufficient enough Razz (doubt that with headset you would hear the difference between 5.1 and 7.1)

All I can say is that fatal1ty MKII are good headphones with deep sound.
Those are what I have so I cannot speak for 5,1/7,1 more than my 5,1 speaker setup which is pain in the ass

It's generally simulated 5.1 when using headphones.
Works well enough.

I wouldn't take headphone buying advice from a guy who doesn't even know how to put a set of headphones on...

Yea because my Roccat Kave TRUE 5.1 are bad ones Laughing
No emulated crap.

F*ck off fool, go troll someone else.
Because you keep failing at understanding why i said it.
But i guess your brain cannot comprehent the fact that people DO understand things different then another person does.
But once again:
I tought those where full noise cancelation headsets (as we had a topic about BIG HEADSETS, and not SMALL ONES), thats why i wondered. As with those kind of headsets you NEED TO PUT YOUR EARS INSIDE THE HEADSET ITSELF TO ACTUALLY BENEFIT FROM THE CANCELATION.

I never said a thing about your headphones?

I said generally with headsets it's simulated 5.1..
It's nobody's fault but your own that your reading comprehension is so bad.

As for the other headphones, there was a big picture of them (the headset in case you already forgot what is being talked about ) no person with a IQ higher than a plank of wood would think the ears go in the hole.
There is no excuse.

I though i was on ignore, or was that function too hard for you to figure out?

Get a life.

Keep trolling and you will end up just like the others that tried Smile

And no, you didn't say anything about my headset, directly. But indirect you did. Saying that i have no clue about headsets just because i asked a valid question in a topic about BIG HEADSETS (once again as you don't seem to get that).

And you call a 373x500 a BIG picture?

Anyway reported you for being nonstop insulting towards me.

I neither directly nor indirectly said a thing about your headphones there functionality or there quality.
I specifically said in general, meaning most headphones.

Your comprehension is terrible, and that's your problem son.

Report the post all you want, go run and tell your mummy for all i care. It's pathetic.

Are you now going to claim the picture was not of big enough size for you too see the headphones clearly?
Oh please...
