As I mentioned earlier SKSE has a way to fix the mistake with the non-working resistances. Smile

Been using Vurt's flora pack for some time but if there's a new version since today I haven't downloaded that yet so I'm unsure how it is, might still be uploading or distributing between the content servers if it's not currently working.

I've played over 200 hours too and I have to work. Game was released 21 days ago. I work 8 hours a day, 5 days in the week, sleep 8 hours a day. Leaves me with 8 hours free time every day from monday to friday. And I have 48 hours of free time every weekend to do whatever the fuck I want.

Comments like these are just pissing me off. Not other people's fault if someone isn't able to to make some compromises.

I'm using the nexus mod manager and since that script extender thing uses its own launcher, I thought it wouldn't be compatible with NMM so not very useful for me. Does it work with NMM?

Ah yes, I see it just unpacks the mods to the right places. The patch seems to give quite a boost in performance for me. I hope dragons flying backwards won't occur here.

i used the cff explorer method on tesv.exe (using rzr rls + update1 repack, no steam installed).

It should be. You need to do jobs for the guild first though, to spread their influence to other towns.

Yup. I really don't understand what is hard to grasp about this?

Game shows as needing installed in Steam, but you just play from either .exe independently. Updates also work just fine, although there is no option to change anything otherwise, as Steam shows the game 'greyed out' because it thinks its not installed.

All in all, I'm enjoying my free Russian copy, albeit in 'offline mode' for the time being. Don't want no 1.2 patch shit! Wink

Oops, I broke Uthgerd the Unbroken ... there was some clusterfuck with 3 silver hands on some stairs, one of which was in full plate and 2-handed sword, fireballs were flying, shit happens.

She served me well, I looted her clean, when I'll get back to town I'll loot her house, too.

I posed her body to make her look pretty for a final photo opportunity, I think she'd like that :

Companions are already semi-immortal, they just go down and grasp for air or what to describe it as when they get injured, only way I've managed to kill one is to hit them myself.
(Or similar, was clearing the twin towers with Uthgerd yesterday - Amir's family sword misc quest - and she fell off that bridge due to poor AI navigation and those four or so marauders attacking at once, anyway she went down into the river stream below and then over the waterfall - found her body eventually on the shore a bit further back from said waterfalls.)

Of course I guess they could die if they're hit hard enough by a AI too but they kinda stop attacking them when they do that recuperation animation so it's very rare unless you are battling exceptionally tough enemies.
(Usually when the player is at a lower level since companions auto-level with you and get quite strong - usually cap around ~40 or so though I believe it was.)


EDIT: Right, traps too unless the companion is a high enough level to survive.


EDIT: But now I have a dark-elf assassin I found in Whiterun instead, bit more grim but pretty useful with twin legendary ebony daggers and glass armor. Razz
(But hiring her counted as doing a favor so now she's all weird like most other NPC's get after you do something for them or their town / settlement.)

So...how do I enable large adress aware on my cracked version ? patched with the latest patch btw...I downloaded the large adress aware from the nexus but it says on readme I need steam so...lol 300 thousand downloads...and you need steam? yeah right

what to do guys?
now that I dont have this 4gb patch my game crashes a lot =(((
does the drm stop pirates from applying the patch??

Are you sure about companions leveling with you JB? Lydia seems quite weak now after 15 levels. I don't think they level with you. She can take a punch with good armor, but her damage output is really bad compared to my character even with a great weapon.
Is there a companion which does not charge head on into battle and gets surrounded by ten high level beandits? Lydia is pissing me off increasingly since I have to save her all the time. I want someone who stays at a distance, an archer or a magic user for example.
