Have you run Memtest? cdd.dll is one of the most basic drivers there is, I can't imagine that actually causing a BSOD unless it is corrupted on either the driver or gets corrupted when it's loaded into RAM.
And next time, install Windows from a USB drive; I've been using Flash drives to install Windows for years
Werelds, I dont own a flash drive or a DVD-ROM, my only option was to install it from the current OS.
Tested Batman Arkham City, I was happy to be one of the lucky players out there who did not experience any crashes, well... now I am experiencing crashes almost every time.
What the fuck is happening.

Sounds like RAM gone bad. Check the settings in the BIOS, make sure it's getting enough voltage and running at or below the rated speed; and run Memtest. For that you'll need a flash drive or DVD drive though
You can get 8 GB drives for a few Euros nowadays, go pick one up tomorrow
I'm suspecting a bad install of the OS, I also had some old files from the other OS's and was prompted to choose from 3 different Windows 7's at startup .
Everything is fucked up, I can't think of the RAM memory since this is too spontaneously, and only occuring after the windows reinstall.

fuck me, I've heard other people having issues with Joining Server, how big of a problem is this. Somedays I can join just fine and days like today, I can't connect worth a fuck.
I still find it odd it just happens to be the day my new roomate hooked his PS3 up to the internet (not through my router) not like anything was changed.
albeit it isnt a fix, but adding proxy.novafusion.ea.com to hosts file did reduce connection problems for me. Before, it was sometimes impossible to join a server, now it usually goes np or i have, at most, click join server 2-3 times TOP (instead of 10 times+ if ever).
ALSO origin requirement is purely cosmetic and it kinda baffles my mind that EA still wants the game using it.
Here is why :
your battlelog.battlefield login IS your origin login (EA Master Account)
so, they make you login TWICE with the SAME account ...
Origin (beside being a piece of shit of bloatware) is as useless as it gets.
Updates are applies via battlelog (game manager says new version, you click ok, yes it starts origin and updates ... why ?`)
Origin is buggy at install (they said they fixed the "download done blabla" bug .. they didnt ... i reinstalled windows and therefor all games AFTER that "fix" and it took again 1.30 hours at full speed (100mbit or 45 gbyte/hour !) to DOWNLOAD battlefield 3 client ....
also, you can (thats what i do) block Origin from accessing the internet totally (inbound, outbound) and have it run in offline mod and bf3 STARTS JUST FINE ....
I had to do that at release, because i was one of the "invalid code blabla" "victims" (serial was fine, it was a bug on EA's auth servers ..)
Blocking nova.proxy.... in hosts did the trick for that (thats the EA master auth server), blocking origin is totally optional, but heck why not .
Also, origin being like steam ? hm, in battlelog i see my friends online, friends playing, can chat with them etc ... wtf do i need origin for ...
pure bloatware ...
(ps im high and have the urge to write lol, should make sense none the less tho )
game crashes computer, 100% inbetween 1 and 10 minutes of playing. Same drivers as before, same hardware, only thing different really, is the bf3 update.

i played battlefield 3 since it got released. On the exact same pc as i do now. (but if it really interests you, its a ASUS p6-t mobo, a i7-920@3.2ghz, 6gb ddr3 triple channel ocz platinum memory, asus 560ti cu2 gpu.
temps are all fine (monitored with msi afterburner and core temp). gpu is stable 63°C and CPU around 60°C aswell.
i havent been playing since last update (january 25th something ?) so im pretty sure its something in that update that broke the game, not anything on my end.
After reboot i get :

I have recently bought a legal cd-key of Battlefield 3 game and activated succesfully with EA.I have already activated succesfully my account with EA and Origin but I can't login in Battlelog(Just tells me that I need to buy the game).Additionally, I can't launch the Battlefield 3 game from Origin.Tried giving it administrative rights, repairing the game, clean uninstalling both Origin and the game. When I launch the game it just tells me that I'm playing Battlefield 3 and bf3.exe stays on task manager without any progression or showing the servers on my browser.Any ideas/solutions?
I had the same problem with Battlelog. You can either wait for the server to update (I have no idea how long this could take) or you can contact EA and they will fix it for you within minutes. I think if you go to the US site and the support section you can chat live over the net.

OK I need help guys. It's impossible for me to play this game for the last 3-4 months. Whenever I play for more than 20 minutes, the game starts to stutter randomly and it literally hangs around all the time. The more I play, the heavier the stuttering becomes, irrelevant which server I connect to or which graphical settings I chose.
It shouldn't be the temperatures, nothing ever is above 60°C in my PC and ARMA II is not really light on the hardware requirements and yet I'm able to play it 5-6 hours straight without problems.
not sure if this will help but i had stuttering and after searching google came across a bf3 thread about hyper threading after bit more searching found a reg entry to disable core parking....
