What a surprise ... SLI. Most of the time when I see people complaining about poor performance, they have some SLI set-up. Why would people keep being so foolish that
a) they spend tons on two cards when the performance is at best maybe 30-40% better
b) their PC makes loads of noise and heat
c) they need to invest in a more expensive PSU as well
d) get a whole ton of SLI issues - they're usually what's broken (along with DX11) on release
Seriously, save your money. A good card will run most games at max detail for years to come - by that time, you can use the money you saved on another good card that would piss all over your SLI setup.
Lol, i aint got crappy SLI, unlike nvidia, ATI scales ALOT better.
Once i got my second HD6870 my performance in 90% of the games went up by DOUBLE the fps.
a) €150,- for each card aint expensive, my i7-2600k cost more then that. (atleast back then)
b) pc is quiet is fuck, good case solves that all. ~73 degrees max load. Fans on 30%.
c) Crossair 650watt, was around €100,- not expensive.
d) can't deny that, but that's mainly with NEW releases, wich are (usually) solved within a couple of weeks.
So no, i won't seriously save my money.

Crossfire is just AMD's SLI, and tends to have problems as well.
It runs well on my 5850 on High settings, though it does make the card run pretty hot at 60% fan speed or so. Around 80 degrees C. But it's also true I need to do some cleaning inside my case.
Disabling Crossfire would probably have solved the poor scaling if that was the problem (Performance worse than a single-GPU setup / negative scaling.), unless you tried it already, still the game Anno 1404 was pretty demanding and this takes it a step further though no doubt drivers will improve the situation as will future patches.
(That most recent driver "11.11 hotfix b" version could maybe have done something along with 11.11 CAP2 but I don't remember a ANNO 2070 profile in either.)
Anyone who knows how to get the package from Mr. Strindberg on mission 1 ? ... first he say to pick it up at the northeast warehouse but when I go there nothing happens and its only like 10 of each in the warehouse.. On youtube it shows that Strindberg is transporting the items to the boat as fast as the player goes there.. :S.
Indeed, crossfire turned off fixed it, thus negative scaling.

And why the fuzz that i uninstall a game, i reinstall this shit within 30 secs if needed (every game i install goes on backup on my server, so i can play it at any time i want to)

I had no choise, there was no money left for a GTX580 or so, thus investing €150,- for a second card that (if profiled correctly) does better then a 580... well choise was easy.
But i already decided that next year i'm getting a single card again
