Because when you remove the crack the SKIDROW saves don't work anymore, so unless he's at the very beginning of the game, he might not want to redo all that.

Doesn't the hex editing trick for Batman AC's savegames work with this one too (considering someone can find the differences between the normal savegames and the cracked ones)?

I love how you didn't even read the article and just wrote "ubifail" underneath it like an idiot.

If you actually read it, it states that Ubisoft is on a right track to recognize that the PC is still a serious platform, albeit more unique than consoles.

Could somebody please tell me if this fixes Desmond's memories to a working state or is it the same as before..it's on gamecopyworld..

No, its from Skidrows Release.

The only way to play Desmods memories is "the offline way" without Skidrows crack.

How to:
- install ACR
- block all ACR exe files in your Firewall
- block UBI Launcher in your Firewall
- start game, make FAKE account, set "force offline" in UBI Launcher settings
- play without crack (Desmods memories work fine)

Just provided the info, I'm in the middle of the game too (Skidrows release). Maybe I will replay it later (without crack), when no Crackfix will come out.

Maybe someone, who has already unlocked all off Desmonds memories with the uncracked version, can provide a savegame for those who already finished or at the end and do not want to replay it.

Neon, what will you do if Ubisoft declared AC3 (or perhaps even AC2012 Cool Face ) would not be coming to PC due to rampart piracy? Laughing Perhaps even announce Assassins Creed Free2Play (made on the Price of Persia Sands of Time engine) as online only game? Laughing

Mine worked awesomely when installed in the default path (C:\Program Files...).

I want to believe that, but I don't. Skidrows Crackfixes come very fast, mostly same day they release a game. This time I think they not able to fix this.

Yes, Desmonds travels work that way, but you have to start a new game, your old (Skidrow) savegames won't work with uncracked files.

Yes, Desmonds travels work that way, but you have to start a new game, your old (Skidrow) savegames won't work with uncracked files.


Yeah, no problem. I only played till the part Ezio arrives at Istanbul last night.

I'm getting a 'Failed to load configuration" error from the launcher when I do that. Do I need to reinstall it or something?
