A lot of things I liked in AC1 are here as well. For instance, when you assassinate somebody, it's no longer a one-liner from Ezio, they do the long talk a'la AC1.
Secondly, the story is much more serious now- again, like in AC1. It deals with drama, murder, treason and love. Obviously I don't want to spoil anything, but from what I've played it REALLY improves upon Ezio's character. He's no longer talking about boobs and asses all the time, instead he is concentrated on his task.
I also like how Ezio's more human now and we see more of his personal life(a "spoiler" from maybe first 15 minutes of the game) [sausje spoiler] for instance, he writes letters to his sister Claudia continuously and describes everything he does [/sausje spoiler].
And the story feels much more organized too, but then again- I haven't finished it yet (and won't finish it until I buy it), so I can't really say much more.

Nope, still crashes. |
makes sense, i guess you play more for the story and immersiveness?
personally that's why i don't think too highly of the series myself, story is either ignored or second to last priority i look at, takes a lot to make me feel "in character" so if the mechanics aren't just perfectly so the story could be awesome and i'd still hate it.

I'm in the same situation as you and yeah, I think finishing Brotherhood is very recommended, since from what I've seen Revelations starts off where Brotherhood left off.

well.... the story in this one seems quite a bit superior which neon explained, but personally and from only a quick look i had more fun with AC:B than AC:R (only played like... 30 minutes? though)

Is there any reason to get full sync in memories in this one? The game is too retarded to let me get that it seems...

Yes, because of challenge and harder difficulty, I always go full sync.

So did I, until I saw how retarded this game is... Anyway, I meant, does it reward you with anything if you get full sync?

Because I don't have the patience to stand all the hand-holding. Oh no... you got 10m away from that guy, you lost him! DESYNCHRONISED!!! What the fucking hell?! I also got discovered because the character didn't want to execute the air assassination a few times. Stuff like this only makes the game very frustrating when it asks certain things from the player in order to achieve full sync.

If you can't keep up with the guy, how is it handholding? It would handhold you if you could stay 250km from him and still accomplish your task.

That was just a thing that really annoyed me... and it's not like that. He doesn't need to move and if you go 10m away from him at most you get desyncronised because you lost him. Yeah, this sure isn't part of all this hand-holding bullshit that is shoved in most games lately... It's pretty much the same idiotic thing as the "Follow - 7m" shit from today's shooters. I don't know if I can finish this game. I mean, I want to, but... I've been a big fan of the franchise, but I'm getting tired of doing the same old shit from scratch in every game.

Well done shitrow. Just like how you took all the work someone else did for cracking AC2 and claimed it as your own. Never stop being a worthless pile of shit crack group.

You can finish the game without them, but IMO you miss a big part of the story.
