Well im not so far ingame as others but i see in this more a new game than a successor to 1404. There is so many new resources and things you have to take in account. Just try the demo if your not sure.

The demo does feel and play exactly like 1404 so that won't really convince him either way. It being super short doesn't help either.
Buy or wait for crack. It has to come this weekend.

If you play as the Ecos there'll be plenty of color. Where as the Tycoons will have industrial islands surrounded in smog and dark-grey sludge for water.

I had a RUS client. I just downloaded the Multi6 and installed the language of my choice.

search for ubisoft in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\

If you liked 1404 get it. the core gameplay, gamestyle, mechanics and such is EXACTLY like 1404. populate islands, keep people happy..expand to get/grow things that you cant on your home island, MASSIVE trade routes to get it all moved.
it has a lot of visual/cosmetic changes, with some additions of items, and tweaks/new elements. and its a well rounded game for sure. But under the hood, if they replaced the artist style with a medieval theme..you would feel it was an expansion for 1404. Think of it as "1404 part 2, the future!"
Not saying its a bad game by far! me and friend racked up a 9 hour straight co-op game last night..and had a blast. but if you are looking for something that's a huge leap from 1404, this isn't it

well ther is no language in ubisoft game launcher or laucher place. only game anno 5 has couple times english

i try the game. the game was also spanish even i install the game in english?

As far as I can tell, Yuplay is actually a legitimate site - so the keys aren't at risk. However, just like HoMM6, you'll most likely need a Russian copy of Anno 2070 if you buy a Russian key. My RU key does NOT work on the Skidrow copy of HoMM6; the game loads but refuses to connect to Conflux. I found and downloaded a Russian copy of the game, language changed to English via the registry, and bam -- works perfectly with my RU key.
I presume, being Ubishit, the same would apply to buying RU keys for Anno.
