just got 91,7 mb update on steam? interesting....hope this fix laggines Very Happy

EDIT:
Today, we're releasing a small patch on Steam for the PC version of Saints Row: The Third. There's one main adjustment which I've listed below, and this has seen an increase in performance across most videos cards.

- Performance optimization for High reflections in DirectX 10 & 11 Build.

We'll continue to monitor performance for all of our users, and as always, please remember to use the PC Troublshooting section of the forums to report any issues.

So does the game run any better after that patch?

Never noticed much reflections at all, I guess they're a bit lower resolution now or something but still since I didn't see much of it (Water?) I guess performance is likewise largely unaffected.

Haven't played it since it updated though, I could be quite wrong.

The only patch the game has gotten was a patch to the EXE and the EXE only. I'd say there's something shady about that release.

could probably dig one up if someone wants, but.... i did already finish the game, so... Laughing
honestly, i'd say be happy for the chance to get someone else's money's worth, this game is insanely short anyway, but very good.

just come to install SR3, played for about 30 minutes, very fun. Unplayable with 3D Vision, specially because of ghost effects which are very very bad in this game, but anyway even in 2D mode, SR3 is all about fun and gameplay. If the rest of the game is as good as the beginning, I could even consider to buy it.

How so? I bought a Skyrim key, it turned out to be RU only, I got a mail on release day, got a refund two days after. Very fast imo.

How about spoilering it for those who haven't played it?

Btw, I just started the game. Does any dialogue/event change related to the whether the protagonist is male or female?

1 and 2 are still amazing.

Yes, a whole lot of the mission dialogue changes depending on sex. The female lines are generally better if you ask me. The mission where you get Zimos had me laughing pretty hard.

And yeah, spoiling the endings is not cool.
