So i need to go to damn army at january, and i need to get decent laptop which plays games (not interested about the overpriced gaming laptops). Games what i will play are Diablo III (and some other similar) since its coming early next year, and perfect stress killer in army at free time!
Laptop needs to have:
Strong CPU
decent GPU
15.6" max screen size (i dont like big laptops, it needs to be portable, mini laptops are damn sweet, but not powerfull enough)
4-8GB ram
HDD (doesnt really matter i will throw my old 120GB Kingston SSD to the laptop, for extra smoothness)
Budget is 800€
This has caught my attention when i was watching some laptops
Asus X53SV 15.6"
Screen: 15.6" HD (1366x768)
Processor: Intel® Core™ i5 2410M 2.3 GHz
Memory: 6 GB (4+2 GB) DDR3-1333
HDD: 500 GB SATA 5400 rpm (will throw it to the hills)
GPU: NVIDIA GT 540M 2 GB
And some other stuff.... It costs 699,90€. What you guys think? Is there better for the similar price? And it should be enough for the games i mentioned. Why all laptops has that damn glossy screen, i hate it

Looks good enough.
Only upgrade I can see would be getting an i7-2630QM over that i5-2410.
We have the K53SV-SX285V for 799€ around here, surely you can find it for 50-100€ less there?

Take a look at Dell XPS 15 and possibly XPS 15z.
Or MacBook Air, because remember:

same specs does not equal same performance
when it comes to macs vs pcs... specs mean shit really...
im not bashing your results but you can't really look at mac specs and then look for pc hardware and compare prices... and call it exactly the same because the hardware is the same... that's just silly |

Of course really
i stand by my supporting of macs unless i see otherwise fit,
my laptop costs 3x more than the pc i built and i only had to replace the hard drive twice cause it kept failing
