What I want or where I want to go, has little or nothing to do with a large amount of money.
I suppose I'm fortunate to have modest needs in the materialistic sense, but then again - I do have other needs that can't be easily met with or without superfluous wealth. So it's not like I'm particularly better off.
I just don't go around wanting something, beyond basic needs met, that I can buy for money, except for the occasional luxury item or something to pass the time. But I know such things are trivial in the grand scheme of things, and I have what I need to gain access to them already.
Since I'm also highly utilitarian, it makes a whole hell of a lot more sense to me to donate them to people who would benefit much more from the money than I would.

As for money, it would be a waste. But if you insist, I'll go for an island fortress somewhere, and I'd start developing games where I would do nothing but dictate designs and how everything would function - and I'd have talented developers doing all the work.
My first game would be a genuine evolution of System Shock - that would shatter the gaming world in terms of what has been done before.
I'd have to settle for love, and do without the harem of voluptious slave girls. Tempting, but love is the better long-term solution.
Oh, and I still reserve the right to donate enough of my money to clear the debts of my loved ones.

Average jackpot winnings is probably over £4 million in the UK. I would buy a 4 bedroom house for myself and several 3 bed houses to rent out, a nice car for 20-30 grand and all the usual stuff... maybe start up some kind of business too.

Put that shit one the bank and continue my life, I would spend 50% of my interest as long as it does not surpass 100.000 per year. If I ever have children I will tell them to do the same, we'll start our own lineage of rich bastards, I'd probably even put it into a shell company or something, avoid some taxes and make sure my kids only get the interest. Not only would this prevent them having to pay "succession" tax on the money; it would also make sure they dont do something stupid and spend it on useless shit.

I would buy an EVGA X79 Classified motherboard with a Core i7 Extreme 3980X. Also new watercooling parts. Id buy a third GTX 480 hydro copper card and a new power supply  . Also Id buy a new sound system for my PC, Im currently using Creative Inspire 4.1 4400 which I purchased in like 2002.
I would start buying legit PC games (AAA titles) instead of downloading torrent. I would also pay for Showtime again so I can watch Dexter on tv instead of having to download. And Id like to pay my parents back for paying my full college tuition over the years.
Id like to also buy one of those super expensive realistic sex dolls (None of that porky paulina shit) for when Im not getting laid, which is quite often Always wondered about those
