Strictly speaking, that's not just one villain. Up to this point, I took down...  Spoiler: | ...Freeze, Ra's, the Penguin and Zsasz (maybe more, these are the ones that come to mind). |
And yet, still only one Catwoman segment. It feel like there should have been a few more.

Fix to get the Steam Overlay, after you did all the things Neon said, got the game running etc, disable the VPN play a bit like that, exit everything, Steam/VPN
Now open the VPN again, connect to the same server
Open steam, wait for the Play button tot pop'up
Press the Play button, if the game starts to install 1 of the 5 components your good to do, let it do all the things.
After launch exit all again, VPN and Steam, and from now on Steam Overlay should work.

yeah i get what you mean, i'm personally guessing you'll be tossed into catwoman once for each major villain.

but are those ones villains you can ignore? or they become the main objective at some point?
i'd guess they're side quest ones, fairly sure one or two is at least, i've only got to around 20% at most with their cases though and only been told to play catwoman once as well. [/edit]

Fucking GFWL and it's shitty updates that crash the game because YOU HAVE TO UPDATE THIS NOW AND CAN NOT POSSIBLY CONTINUE UNTIL IT'S INSTALLED.

I confirm that the gfwl achievements work fine while the Steam ones are still all greyed out. Not that I particularly care of course

And this is not the worst part!If you had installed some update over some game and then you finished it and deleted game.The next time you install it the update fails.And i don't know way to fix it except fresh win install.Had problems with SFIV.Its really frustrating

Just O M G..
Wanted to start it via the .exe in the folder, so i don't need to vpn with steam.
It started fine...Then i saw i got no profile to select? Even after some restarts nothing. And yes i was signed into Gay games live when playing, and still am.
Also C:\Users\xxx\Documents\WB Games\Batman Arkham City\SaveData is supposed to have the savegames i bet? Which is empty too..
Man i'm so raging currently. I still wonder why i keep buying games when you get fucked so much for doing so.
edit: I have two savefiles in .sgd format in \Steam\userdata\xxx\57400\remote. Maybe it will only work when starting directly from Steam? But still can't because not unlocked yet and hideme.ru trial is over and getting no new code from them..

The error I get is faulty kernelbase.dll and something about ran_out_of_memory.

In order to improve mouse responsiveness I suggest to set the "bSmoothFrameRate" on false (bmengine.ini), as always happens when it comes to ue3-powered games

GFWL supposed to do so, at least it did with re5 for me. In any case steam cloud is better
Achievements work as well, but assassin's creed is out now so batman goes on the back burner for me.
