Hmm steam times out when vpn is active, all other things work over the vpn, except steam

Edit: now i even see it without connected to VPN (on my main pc) in online modus

Nvm, the key is in the right side of the screen, under Links, not in the right click menu.

Updated version of the guide since a lot of people started PMing me:
1. Download the VPN I posted earlier ( http://usaip.eu/en/free_vpn.php )
2. Without using VPN, open firefox, IE, chrome and write steam://install/57400 . Open your downloads tab on Steam and wait until it downloads.
3. Close Steam.
4. Open the VPN (select USAIP PPTP Missouri), connect to it, use "demo" as both login and password.(Without the quotes). Open Steam. Batman now has a play button on your list, press it.
5. Wait until it decrypts. After it does, right click on the icon in your game list and click "View CD-Key". Copy the CD-key somewhere safe, you'll need it for Securom activation. Hang up the VPN connection.
6. Go to your Steam Batman directory(something like: E:\Steam\steamapps\common\batman2\Binaries\Win32) , create a file steam_appid.txt and put 57400 in it. If it's already there there's no need to create it.
7. Launch the game directly from the executable, not through Steam's game list.
8. When the Securom popup appears, enter the CD-Key you copied earlier (it is NOT the same as the Steam key!)
9. Play.

sadly the game has problems wit dx11 mode running i hope for a patch soon but oh well off to play some skyrim

Yeah I was thinking about keep playing Skyrim until they release a patch fixing the stuttering, etc.

How can I fix the VPN that Neon posted, since mines opens with Adobe Pixel Blender Toolkit 2 O_o nor I can compile it.
