Okay... Looking at the properties for the Steam version, I have a cd key already assigned. Presumably G4WL. Anything to stop me from activating it on my G4WL account? Would it allow me to download it? Or is it just a registration key, and not a purchase key. (That is, would it just say that I have the game on my account, but not give me the option to download it?)

If only there was a decrypt command directly, would be abused though so the only method is to press Play from within Steam itself to begin that process, if the game is currently not listed that will be quite difficult to achieve.
(Some issue with Steam?)
EDIT: Non-Steam Win32 folder, might help a bit but would need the reset of the game decrypted.

(Back up the Steam version, some files are likely identical though, unsure if the Steam version uses SecuROM as well but if it does the key should work to just activate and play that way thus bypassing Steam and the current issues it has, to a degree at least.)

Yep. In EU as well if you use VPN and the steam_appid trick.

I'm not using the Steam version though, was just install, let SecuROM validate the release date (Which worked without any problems.) and then play.
Aside from the mild stuttering I've not had any real problems with the game so far.
(Settings as per what I posted earlier with that options window.)
EDIT: That folder.

(Might want to overwrite the save game or use a different profile slot.)
EDIT: Tweaked the files a bit (above is still the original version.) should perform and look a bit better.
