LAA won't work because it's a new EXE and you have to patch it again to reenable the LAA flag.

Seems the update encrypted TESV.exe as there is no LAA-flag anymore, so this breaks the game for many people.
Validating the cache doesn't help either.

It's possible Steam detected a change in your exe because you patched it and downloaded it again.

Found an exploit, dunno if it's new or old, when your exp bar is full and you need to level up don't, go to an enchant table and start enchanting, your enchanting skill will level up one by one.
Edit: Ok maybe was "triggered" somehow since, tabbing out of enchant screen and going on again killed the "exploit"
What I did, killed a dragon, got the soul, got a word power also, fast traveled to Dragonsreach, disenchanted an item to get the enchant on my armor and more or less that's all.

I sometimes just enable TGM when I start carrying too much... Get to where I got to go, and unload my wares... though you are superman at this point

From what I read this is kinda Steamworks / CEG which causes the exe to crash when tampered with thus why LAA patching does not work on it, patch also does the following adjustments apparently.
Patch:
-Fixed the angle of grass
-Fixed the hue of tree barks

If that's the case, then they deliberately MADE this new patch use CEG, as LAA worked just fine beforehand. Why would they suddenly increase protection in subsequent patches? :\

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. Didn't Bethesda deliberately leave off CEG so as to not break Script/Graphics Extender functionality? Seems very strange they'd make the later patches CEG encrypted.

I guess pleasing the management/shareholders is more important than pleasing the modders.
