Apparently this is working for some
open your evox.ini and edit the following values:
TSR_Type =1
GameRegion = 1
also add:
DebugTSR = No
this will give you real ntsc mode and the game should work.

try it with TSR=normal and region=auto first... if it don't work get hold of enigma and install it as an app and set it to ntsc mode manually
the problem is that the auto region built into NKpatcher/metoo m8plus doesn't work with (at least some) 1.6 boxes, so you have to rely on Evox to set auto region.. and for that TSR needs to be on 'normal'
i have a 1.6/1.6b box which acts like this and Evox is the only dash i can get auto region to work with
pm me if you need help
edit... note you need to turn off/on your box for the TSR setting to take effect
edit 2... just tried it with TSR=normal , region auto ... and it auto switched to NTSC just fine with my UXE/NKPatcher10 setup

Wow, it works now for me.. i put TSR to normal and Region to auto.
But my colours are black and white, im gonna move my xbox downstairs, because thats a brand new television. I got on old 37 cm screen in my room:(

Dang, can't get it to work here. My evox.ini doesn't even have those values mentioned above...
Oh well, waiting for the PAL version then.

hehe... the cheats are the same as the PS2 version, i just spawned a jet pac and took a little filght into Las Venturas and had a nice little shoot out with the police, i got bit poker in though at the four dragons casino... lost all my money 
jet pac... L1,white,R1,black,up,down,left,right ... then repeat.. use the digi cross for up down ect.. and remember you have to do it twice
I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????

Has anyone got this to work using Evo X +3921 - Pal Xbox V 1.1 with an Executer 2 chip?? If so please enlighten me as to how I get it to work!

No luck here either on a Crystal 1,6 box and a version 1.0 box.
Have tried launching from xbmc / avalaunch and evox (with the fixes in evox.ini) both from HD and DVD.

here's my Evox settings in Dash config from evox menu
1st make sure xbox is in NTSC mode and not in PAL - USE VIDEO ENIGMAH APP and select NTSC
then in Dash Config:
Video Standerd = NTSC North America
Game Region = Auto
TSR = Debug
all instances of IGR disabled ( this should be anyway)
and lastly double check clock time and year is setup right on MS dash
this works fine with X2 bios and cheapmod for me on V1.0 xbox using evoX
Kids Crystal xbox with smartX chip and evlaunch dashboard worked 1st time with no mucking about
both from dvdr and HD -and also i made a GTA 3 + GTA San Adreas Multi all on 1 dvdr, lol

The EvoX method and changing the game region in SmartXX OS settings both work for me on my PAL 1.6 Xbox with SmartXX V.2 chip, using the Xecuter 2 5035 bios.

either do as gp force says, or check what micromij is saying. older versions dont have adjustable tsr and shit. and its really easy to update.

The EvoX method works for me even with my Xbox left in PAL mode. Also I have IGR enabled

yeah its just down to the TSR option in the end and latest X2 bios (last one they did for X2 chips)
My dashboard for evox isn't even the latest either.
ANyway off to play
BTW this is miles better than the ps2 version, no lag yet and plays very well
