God damn it, so many quests. Find a new person -> quest. Find a new city -> a shit ton of new quests. I feel that the more quests I finish, the more the quest log increases.
I may be just lucky with 40 hours and no bugs at all - not like im doing any main quests or anything (well im trying but wherever i go i collect atleast 10 more quests that lead me to 10 new places with 10 more each... )xD
Still, the companions blocking my path and camping doorways i want to move through is.. so annoying. At one point i had my ''sidekick'' + 2 dogs ... the horror...
Wanted to let everyone know that the next PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 updates have been submitted for certification, and that the PC patch is coming too. The current estimate is that they will be live the week after Thanksgiving.
Canadian or American Thanksgiving ?
The United States Thanksgiving (November 24, 2011).

We don't have thanksgiving here. Does that mean we are not getting the update?
No, we're getting it, but only on the next big holiday. Probably Christmas.

at least it's limited to NPCs, think how much worse it'd be if every rock, tree, flower and river came with sidequests too.
Fuck, my memory is failing me. I think i had a 16bit and upgraded it to 24? Something in those terms..
It was the 32X (32bit, er, expansion slot thing...?) you naab...
Prolly that, but i know that i enjoyed the hell out of Toejam and Earl, Sonic and the Vikings (wich untill recently i found out was from early Blizzard )

Honestly I feel like Homer Simpson playing this game...
"OK! There's mages in Winterhold, gonna head there"
Few hundred meters later...
"Oh, look! A butterfly! Lalalalala!"

I get the lexicon in Riften, go to the ruins, see some ghosts talking about the lexicon containing dwemer knowledge, I go into the deeps, place the lexicon on the receptacle and...... I'm finished with the dungeon That's it?
I cannot get Alchemy figured out for the life of me..pissing me off.. I've made like 30 potions and put all kinds of nasty shit in my mouth and not a single point. Unsure if I get points for making recipes I already know..or if it just levels up slow..

Im pretty much in same boat I use all unknown ingredients to see what they are used for, then when i get to the table to make a potion it just i dunno nothing seems to go together and i got a shit ton of scrolling list of ingredients.
to be honest it does not for me make one bit of diff to playing and winning so far not making any.. I can pwn pretty much on adept with just common sense and a few already made potion drops or looted off tables etc.

Some of the potions are rather nice.. if you're having problems with combinations..i've been using this which seems to work..but doesn't really help me with the leveling up
This time I won't spent any friggin time with crafting. I'll just ignore it. I also won't pick up anything crafting related. Except gems/rings/amulets to make at least a bit of money from exploration. When every Skill I focused on is on 100, I'll start with crafting.
God damn... I need some survival mod (eat, sleep, repair weapons/armor) fast... why isn't there a friggin Hardcore mode
I hope this will slow down the level up progression abit too. I just can't cope with being 40+ while I only finished maybe 30% of the content.
ah neat i saw the first release and wasnt sure what it was about really and passed it up 2.0 looks good and i guess u just use the search effect tab mostly..
I played this to level 32 with my mage and didnt see any orc sites, this game is so grand! Finally my berserker orc is getting his full set orc armour!
speaking of orcs, has anyone else found the one for the miscellaneous mission and given him an honorable death?
Ya
Spoiler:
You just have to kill him - he nearly killed my mage when I was level 5 If you kill him you get some boring loot and if you let him live he shows up places where he have just killed sabre cats etc.
I just stumbled upon "Lunds hut" thats my surname!! Skewers out side and then when I walk in, poor Lund have been killed by fucking Skewers, and to make matters worse he even has a Skewer trophy kill over his mantle (clown) and his house is shit.
yeah i managed to beat him too, i'm pretty sure that guy scales to your level also cause at lvl 27 even with poisoning my sword with paralysis he was still extremely tough to beat.
the survival mod is so tempting, but.... it seems like it changes quite a bit more than i'd like it to so i'm gonna keep waiting for bethesda to patch in hardcore mode, that was easily the best thing added in a patch for fallout 3/NV, it just seems bloaty and pointless to have so much random food around and no real reason to use any of it.

Did he have any loot worth it now?
Best random encounter was some two richs persons going to a wedding guarded by a bodyguard - one of the things I could say was "hand over the gifts" so I did that of course, then the bodyguard comes racing, but they had hired a very cheap one, because I one hitted his head Highlander style and then they just continued walking like nothing happend, but my Orc was not finished - they had gems etc. for over 1000gc
And oh ya I got a bugged quest also now:
Its a "A Night to Remember" quest question;
Spoiler:
I actually solved it (it says completed). But it went down as to me not getting the goat or the ring. Before talking to Sangione (whatever) when I meet him in "misty grove" my characters says "I got the harven feathers etc. (by chance maybe I had in inventory, but not because of Moira - I hadent meet her at this point!). So he gives me the staff etc and then im back at whiterun tavern.
So I go to Moira, she just stands there and I cant start a conversation, so naturally I kill her, take the ring, but Ysolda has reverting from talking about the ring to blah blah. Then I re-enter Morventer dungeon and here is Sangione and I cant talk with him either - is he suppose to just stand there for the rest of the game? I fear im missing out on some Daedra party and my Orc just lives for that shit.
the standard bit of trash he probably had when you killed him, armor, weapon, etc, nothing worth mentioning, maybe if you've got an insane barter skill, i was actually a bit annoyed how fruitless that quest was considering i wasted a paralysis poison to kill him.
Ya in Baldurs gate it was great fun to kill other travelling heroes, tough fight, but like you, they had magic stuff.
But loads of other funny things happening;
In my first game with the game there was an assassin looking for me, funny thing he was standing in the upper most northen marsh, a place I had never been and here is this guy looking for me
A Dragon attacked Riverwood and I had to let the peasents take some punches for me, after the fight, the local smith Alvor had been killed So now there is no smith in town and there is even a dialog with his wife and kid that mourns a bit. Ill try to merry her, that most be the only nobel thing to do
Oh no just saw the time
