i only used the skidrow version and im playing in lan right now..
but not over hamachi or anything just over a local network
works fine..
but i would really like that crackfix from xav that removes the cheats and dlc so the game wont be too easy! would i need to start over again with my friend when i apply the crackfix?

Hmm, game takes 3-5x longer to load first time (after selecting "Continue") when vsync is enabled.

Looks like another "loading is tied to framerate" SNAFU. It happened in another recent game, though for the life of me I can't recall which one >_<

no, works perfectly line
computer is right next to me and even the cutscenes seem to be running perfectly parallel..
only one cutscene was off but ingame was good, also cars and bystanders
even though we had different framerates..
btw im doing the mission where you have to attack the armory, and before that you had to visit a weapon store, and i only had 200 dollar..
so is the DLC and cheats off when you play coop? Since im only using the standard skidrow version

Just checked and no such problem here. Game is SO much better without these annoying unlocks. But it's 1/3 size of Saints Row 2.

okay,anyone tried cooping with someone on a dualcore system?
Guess thats what causes the "out of sync" behaviour between my two machines

betty both my machines are dualcore
one is a e6600 with 2.4ghz and the laptop is an m14x with an i5 2430m (sandy bridge mobile dual core)
so its probably soemthing different

that's one thing im not happy with  the censorship... you have guts flying, swearing, prostitution, bdsm, drug use... but titties are pixelated  especially with some of those 'over the top' cut scenes... nudity would've taken them that much farther.

there should be zero issues im sure. the sync of data across the local is what triggers game interactions.. |

We need an unpacker for those .vpp_pc files and I think we can get rid of the pixelation effect.

Hehe, those are dx11 + High settings +2xAA..but it definitely looks better in motion  (still nothing particularty impressive, but at least it runs at 60-70fps all the time) |

I played with random guys on Tunngle and had no rubberbanding or warping cars,it just occurs when im playing with my other half.Her machine is in the same room,she's able to play the game just fine in SP.No idea whats causing this,feelsbadman.jpg

Well ben on this alot, unfortunatly the more I play it the more I dont like it, feels really unfinished especially how many glitches and fuck ups you get with the physics, cant actually see a patch fixing enough to be wrth keeping it installed. Shame.

No same one how havent you had fuck ups? People getting stuck in your car or your car getting stuck in the ground?
Ive had loads of that stuff, add that ontop of the terrible driving physics and the stupid camera it gets old really quick atleast imo.

Well, objects clipping others happens in every game using a physics engine. I've not seen it much at all. Or I've just not thought about it, as it's a very minor thing to complain about.

Fair point about most games having issues but most games dont also have no camera settings and most open world games with a large emphasis on driving dont play like mario kart, all the faults add up to a shit game imo.
I really like the ott style and settings but its got a few too mnay problems.

I suppose your problem with the driving camera is the camera spring. That annoyed me too at first, but I fixed it by switching the camera mode (or something like that) in the options, from SMART to DELAYED. Also, this game has the kind of bugs that just make me laugh, the kind of bugs that I actually like because they don't break anything, the kind of bugs that the Gothic games especially had back in the days. The car behaviour is quite perfect for this game actually. Just because you don't like it, it doesn't mean that it's shit or whatever. But yeah... I think in the end I'll still prefer SR2 over SR3... they just made this so much simpler and smaller and... I don't know what's the problem with it actually.
