Nice, thanks! Always good to have more actual cracks/decryptions rather than relying on ReACT. Don't get me wrong, ReACT is a fantastic solution - but it's a little TOO iffy for my tastes and the full ramifications aren't yet known.

Looking forward to playing Lemmings again, it was a shame that Sony never embraced other platforms with their updated version.

http://www.ps3crunch.net/forum/threads/1692-True-Blue-v2.2-F.A.Q.
Partial TrueBlue 2.2 FAQ. I say partial, but it's really just a rehashing of what we already know.. only with the disturbing pseudo-confirmation that existing scene backups are worthless and need to be replaced with "TrueBlue compatible" ones -- just like the original ISO dumps were worthless and had to be replaced with Jailbreak releases. Of course this could just be miscommunication - and all that entails is simply getting a TrueBlue-compatible EBOOT.BIN. Let's hope so.

I'm kind of surprised there's been no releases in the vein of UC3 and BF3, two apparently different methods yet no other working games.

Three TrueBlue backups released now; Dirt 3 and Portal 2, as Adebisi mentioned, and now RAGE too. Looks like I was right, sadly... entirely new dumps. You can't take the EBOOTs from the TB release and use them on retail/existing dumps of the games. What a crock of shit :\

How exactly does installing work? If I put GoW (40 fucking gigs. 40!!!) on the internal HDD and remove all the shit on the HDD leaving me 55GB or so of the 60GB, will the game install? Does a game need a certain amount of free space to install? Are GoW one and two available on the PS3?
Ah shit, I should search better before I post. Found a site with a huge list of compatibility. Apparently I have to get "God of War collection" . The first question still stands though.

You know what I'm really surprised thatw e haven't seen? A pkg file that removes the DVD region from the PS3. I'd have thought if Team Rebug can release a pkg that disables cinavia that it would be equally simple to set the region code to 0. That would be cool and would reduce my number of set top boxes!

Don't want this at all, but you have to admire Duplex they are the dogs bolloks! and have the balls to release stuff without making a song and dance about how fecking clever they are. Nice one.

One last question, I promise. I see RDR got some updates and that 1.06 works with CFW 3.55. Now I found something called awesome update finder, but it only finds 1.07 (which doesn't work with 3.55). Can I find the update somewhere else? If yes, how do I install it?

I had a couple of old sites in my favourites, you could try
http://store.brewology.com/updates.php?letters=qrst
or just paste the bles/blus number in here

I also recommend Brewology for getting hold of the GT5 patches, since only up 1.09 works. Every subsequent patch requires 3.60 and above.. even the 2.0 expansion. Shame as, despite the fact that it most certainly ISN'T a "simulator" any more (I remember when GT and GT2 came with gigantic manuals that explained the ins and outs of cars, rather than just "press x to go forward, lolz") it's still a relatively fun arcade racer.
