would it be against the rules asking where you can buy pre-flashed xbox 360s (and they also send the drive key)? Or requesting a PM with that information?

I asked this question a few pages back, will try again. Does anyone know if the Xk3y can ever be circumvented by MS? if not i might buy one if they are future proof. Don't care about live at all.

glitch ( or jtag ) = heaven for offline gaming
regular flash = if u use Live
Almost every box is glitchable..so it's better choice than jtag..

if you don't care about live it doesn't matter in my head.
I am planning to buy either the xkey or the wasabi.

So are there people who managed to play for, say, 3 years on LIVE with the same flashed 360 without getting banned? If so congratulations.
I've still got a flashed one but I've fucked LIVE years ago, I don't need it. So if I JTAG it I never have to hack it again? No matter what Microsoft will throw at me?

Since this might be a good place to ask- I am getting i/o and power calibration area errors in imgburn. With 70% of discs...
burner is basicly new. Ihas124 Y
windows7 32bit, newest imgburn. Googling this didnt helped much. Anyone had that kind of problem?
Edit: Tho I might add that I am using esperanza and emtec discs. Maybe this is the fault?

I thought the 124Y couldn't be flashed to burn XGD3 disks?

Its not. I truncate - every xgd3 game works no problem. Its just a roulette with that power calibration error.... Plenty of bad burns.
I check if disk is well burned by installing the game to hdd. bad burns will fuck up during burn process, or will show "open tray" or will crap out durning xbox game installation

I have no experience with esperanta/emtec disks, so I couldn't say whether they're the cause or not. Usually these errors come from poor media or burning too quickly. There's an article on Google offering some simple tips (such as disabling IMAPI)
http://www.megaleecher.net/Fix_Power_Calibration_Error
But egh, you've probably already tried that >_<

Then I guess the only thing to do is try different media. I'm the same as you; can't burn lower than 4x anyhow, but I use BenQ, Ritek D01/S04/S06 and Verb media, so I've not had a problem with power calibration errors.

Yay. I was just considering ordering a new drive when I realized I already have a new IHAS 124 from my new build that I flashed last night. Lucky! Burned my first XGD3 game all right and it installed just fine. Epic. Still considering Xk3y though.

Live access, mate. With RGH/JTAG you cannot go online, MS ban you within minutes, but with x3key? It's just a drive emulator.. no more or less banworthy than iXtreme, so at least you're afforded SOME online time.

Yeah, used them for the PSX, 8 quid each initially, you really felt the pain if you had a bad burn!

Whats the deal with the RGH if the dash changes and its needed by newer games?
Do I have to send it back to whoever I got it done by or is it just a file copy to replace it with a patched version?
Just getting the cash together to send my nice black Elite away to be done..

Just got my iHAS124 and flashed it, no problems there!
But now I'm turning to you educated guys - how do we verify XGD3 games, or rather, what do we do instead, since ABGX still won't properly verify them? Or are XGD3 rips already safer from the start since they require 0800 drives?

wondering the same thing - apparently the xgd3 games still use some kind of ap25 on them - in which case when the dash updates i suppose this data will need correcting in the image. but atm we cant because of abgx.

XGD3 games are ripped all with the new 0800 v3 so it's "safe" to play on xbl. The xgd3 support will come in abgx360 1.0.6 that is now being worked on.
When the fall update comes, the games will still be playable. Only you can get banned. You need to patch them again and reburn to be xbl safe.

Alright, thanks - but is there anywhere I can read about having to reburn/patch them after the fall update? How is this known already? I know a beta has leaked, maybe they've figured it out through that?
